Chapter 9- Kong Premier!!!

Tonight, was the premier of Kong and I would be lying if I didn't say I was on the verge of tears. The overwhelming panic in my chest as I struggled to breath. More than anything what scared me the most is this was happing in my room. I hadn't even gotten ready; I wasn't in the car; I was just here. To calm myself I start touching each of my fingers together to help me focus on the reality.

I hear my phone go off and take a look to see a message from Chris. That's something that has become part of my daily routine, we constantly text each other and check in to make sure the other is doing well.

C. Evans<3: Good luck tonight! You got this!

YN: Thanks! I really needed that! Had a mild freak out, and I haven't even gotten ready yet.

C. Evans<3: Just take deep breaths on the carpet, wish I could be there to help ☹.

YN: I wish you could be here too; I hope you're enjoying time with the family before shooting! You deserve the break!

C. Evans<3: Yeah, I think I'd rather be at the premier with you though.

YN: Oh stop! We both know you are a family man above everything else! I'll let you go back to them! Thanks again for the words of encouragement!

After I finished texting Chris I had calmed down, I slowly make my way to the bathroom where I straighten my hair and put it in a fishtail braid. There were plenty of times I could have invited Chris to my first premier but I always chickened out. I knew his family time was important and in the end I refused to ask him to come to this and pull him away from his family.

I quickly do a light touch up on my makeup which included gold eyeshadow to match my gold dress for tonight. I get out and take off my robe before sliding on my dress. I look in the mirror with a small smile before slipping on a pair of black flats and walking downstairs to meet Tom.

"You look amazing YN!" I can't help but smile as I do a quick spin to show it off. Tom had finally returned home earlier this week. It was nice to have him back in this giant house, I was not a fan of this size of a house by myself.

"Thanks Tom, for everything these last few months. It really means a lot that you did this for me."

"I would do it all over again in a heartbeat, no doubt." I smile at Tom taking a deep breath before speaking again.

"We should probably get going, don't want to be fashionably late to our own movie."

"No, love we do not." Tom couldn't help but chuckle. I walk over to the kitchen counter grabbing my clutch and phone before following Tom out to the Limo. Hopefully the rest of the evening goes smoother than it has, for me at least.

~Arrive to the premier~

Tom gets out and offers me a hand. I don't even have time to panic before I step out and have all of the flashes of the cameras. Wow... This was not how I remembered the Marvel premier. There were giant posters hanging at the entrance of the building that had to be 20 feet tall, with my face on it. I wasn't even paying attention to the cameras as I look around at the beautiful sights in awe, with a smile on my face. I get broke back to reality as Tom wraps his arm around mine and starts walking us up the stairs to the red carpet.

Right here, in this moment was more than I could have ever dreamed of! I look around and smile towards the cameras while we walk up the steps so they could get better photos then me in shock. We get inside and there were even more cameras. Panic sets in a bit as I feel Tom's arm slip away as he walks a bit ahead for individual photos. I keep it together best I can, making sure not to show the fear in my eyes. 10 minutes later I get through all of the photos including the ones with Tom and I'm now at the interview portion. Great.

"YN! Thank you so much for joining us tonight! Are you ready for this to show on the big screen?" The interviewer asked me.

"If I'm being honest, I'm quite nervous but also overly excited. Working with Tom and the cast was a life changing experience for me and I couldn't be more grateful that it happened."

"What do you think will be your next big movie role?" She gave a small smile aiming the mic back towards me waiting for my answer.

"Honestly, I'm not sure, I just got started so there are endless opportunities for me and my career."

"How did you find the process of the movie?"

"I think I may have lucked out in that. For my first real movie. We didn't use a green screen it was all actual locations which was also amazing allowing me the chance to explore and be outside of my comfort zone." As I finish saying that I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn around and see Chris. My hands cover my mouth in shock as I see him. Seconds later my arms wrap around his neck as I hug him. "What are you doing here!?" I shriek in excitement.

"I came to surprise you! Are you surprised?" He had his famous grin and it made me smile even more.

"I really am!" I say not even paying attention to the interviewer anymore.

"Chris Evans! So glad you could join us tonight!" The lady said pointing the mic back towards us. I let go of Chris still smiling as I turn back to her. "What brings you to the release of Kong Chris?"

"I just came to support my best friend YN YLN! She has worked extremely hard this last year making a name for herself between filming and working with Maroon 5 a few months ago and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to be her to support her. Now if you don't mind, I'm going to steal miss YLN from you."

The woman didn't even have a chance to say anything as Chris puts his hand on the small of my back escorting me away from the crowd. We walk into the theater just the two of us and I see the giant smile on his face.

"You cheeky bastard! I can't believe you're here!"

"You really thought I was leaving you to your first premier with only Tom to be here for you?! Of course not!" Chris walks over and wraps his arms around my waist picking me up and spinning me. "I'm so proud of you YN!" I can't help but giggle like a little kid as he spins me around. After a few moments Chris sets me down and his smile reaches his eyes. "I'm not the only one who came to support you, I may have called the squad..." I gave a confused look and Chris spun me around to see the other Marvel actors and actresses who I've met standing there. I can't help bring my hand up to my chest as I feel tears.

"Don't cry YN!" Scarlett said

"They're happy tears, I promise." I say trying to calm down.

"No missy, you stop that right now, your makeup is too beautiful to ruin." Lizzie said as both her and Scarlett walked in front of the others. Chris lets go of my waist and I just then realized he had still been holding me. I walk over to the girls and I feel their arms wrap around me. When we pull away, I look at the others.

"Thank you all for coming! This means so much to me!"

"We may not be in Marvel together, but you're one of us." Jeremy stated as he folded his arms with the others nodding their heads and some speaking up.

"You really think we were going to miss your big night?" Tom Holland said with Zendaya standing next to him.

"Hell no. Wouldn't miss this for the world." Sebastian said with a giant grin.

"Great, now I get to be nervous that you all are watching my acting." I give a small chuckle but try to remain calm as my now, coworkers watch my acting on the big screen.

"You'll do great kid, now let's get to our seats before everyone else starts coming in." Mackie said with a wink before walking down to his seats. Chris leans down and whispers in my ear.

"I may have gotten my seat right next to yours."

I don't know why but that sent a shiver down my spine hearing him say that. I feel him grab my hand as he walks in front of me showing us our way to our seats. This was really the best night ever!
