"Okay No... You rest now,

"*sigh*" he sighed with annoyance at the result.

"Be patient dear." The queen said as she laid parallel to King cenric's bed, sipping on tea. "You heard what he said, The more you struggle the more pain in return." queen said with a grin.

"No need to rub it in my face..." he replied.

———Borders of 'Southwestern Territory'———

The Head of Foreign Affairs, Gabriel, as been assigned by Matthew to escort the Imperial princess, her personal Knights and the recovered Emperor, to the Southwestern territory of the Empire, geographically cut off from the rest of the empire's territory similar to The Holy Roman Empire.

They belonged to familial loyalists, subordinate to and only to the Emperor himself, not the prince. They were unresistant to the overwatch of the Directorate by their borders after being informed of the Coup and unorthodox procedures by the Prince, and after being informed about the status of their old emperor, they were less likely to even oppose the Forces.

"Are you nervous your highness?" Gabriel asked, as he looked at the Imperial Princess.

"U-Uhm... No, I'm not."

"Being nervous whilst being at an altitude of 10,670 feet is normal your highness, Most wyverns are somewhere below that."

"*snicker*" the emperor restrained to a wheelchair snickered. Due to his lost leg it had to be replaced with an prosthetic one, the amputation was slightly above the knee, so the emperor had to adapt to this, and his current mobility rendered him incapable of running.

"I should've guessed this war was lost since you people came... *sigh* To be fair, I never believed anything you had until I saw it for my self, let alone experience it. Your inventions surpass the most gifted of Dwarves."

"Thank you, Your majesty."

"Eh... No need to call me 'majesty' Anymore." He said, which made several loyalist escorts look at him with confusion.

"Father?" Hazel asked.

"My empire is lost, There is no bringing it back." He said somewhat lazily as he rests his back to the interior wall of the Chinook.

"What? Father, The empire shall come back, I know of-"

"That is what you were trained and taught my daughter, can't you see the empire was doomed from the beginning, it was just my time to hold the torch of dominance. It's end was inevitable, what would you expect if my son has already conducted atrocities that I couldn't stop? The empire is as good as gone." He said, he had already realized this upon being incarcerated by his own son.

"..." everyone went silent, but Gabriel eventually spoke up.

"Maybe not... 'Empire'." Gabriel said

"Hm? What do you mean?" The emperor asked.

"You all have been informed that we are transporting you to the Southwestern territories collectively known as 'your' 'loyalists', but you don't know the other portions of what we are going to do."

"Kindly Explain." He winced

"We are putting you back in... Limited power, or in other words; Return you as a 'Constitutional Monarchy', Your majesty." Gabriel explained, His eyebrow raised

"And why would you even do that?

Gabriel only turned his gaze towards Hazel.

"Your daughter gave useful information to be used against the empire, in exchange for the continuance of your leadership, we will be gather those regions into a confederation." Gabriel Explained.
