"W-What?" She spoke out, as I was rather in deep thought and realization with she had said.

"Please Do not misunderstand or doubt my recollection. After a battle that took place on the city of albatros the Knight Leader Elizabet Echethier, had told me about a disappearance of the 2nd princess, called Lynette. Lynn is a nickname right?"

"Wait... What!?"

"Forgive me if this is rude but..."

Elizabet stopped and turned to looked at me.

"Who is this Lynette, and what exactly has happened?"

"..." she remained silent for several moments, before answering

"The 2nd princess of the United Kingdom, The one who gave me this position and capability. She... *pause* Disappeared, and we never knew what happened, but we are still searching... Many are most certain she is gone, but I hold onto hope."

"...I hope she is safe and sound,"

"Thank you for your consolation, Lord Matthew."

"Please just call me Matthew."

I managed to explain to her the events of the battle of albatros, our conditions, and the enemies, But I didn't want to go in full detail.

"Okay... I think you two are on the edge of collapsing, so maybe we should take refuge for now." I said after scrutinizing their unbearably malnourished appearances.

"Huh? A- Y-Yes..."

We were just adjacent from our previous location, it wasn't much but it did have sufficient shade from the sunlight, the fire crackled as it cooked the meat of the dire wolves.

Whilst this time, we haven't been communicating properly, everything was slightly disorganised. But I didn't pay much attention, as I was more concerned with both of the two's condition, especially Senka's since her vision was blurred.

"About earlier..." I spoke, which caught the attention of both of them.

"Miss Lynn, you said your convoy was attacked?"

"Yes... It was... Many have been either killed or captured..."

"Well I won't force you if you don't want to, but I just want to know why was your convoy attacked and who did it."

"...My country was in a war with the reichian empire, They had the resources and influence to 'hire' entire bandit groups, and Private guilds to act as insurgents in my country to weaken the economy and agriculture, to in-turn weaken the military. My death was supposed to decrease morale severely, but my disappearance would most likely be enough. I don't know if they are actively searching for me."

"How long has it been?"

"Almost a week, I think today is the Sixth day."

"Why haven't you tried returning, you are aware thousands are absolutely anxious about your whereabouts, and Including your subordinate."

"...Like I said, I don't know whether they are actively seeking me out or not, and if they didn't, Me returning would alert the insurgents, to accelerate their progress swiftly within our territory, my people will Fall like flies."

"But you know that this still means they will still continue to pillage, right? Your disappearance does not stop deaths, it only makes it slower."

"...Then I failed..." she quickly responded. "I have already failed my country..."
