It was another regular day at practice in the Nekoma grounds. Yaku picking on Lev, Kuroo picking on Kenma and Kai watching it all go down. Ah, and the enthusiastic wing spiker, Inuoka, spouting his usual gibberish.

"F/n, I gaaaah why!?"

"I know it sucks. But maybe you'll make a better spiker. I can't tell yet."

And F/n, the team manager who also happened to speak fluent gwaaah.

"But he went all swoosh and bam! How am I supposed to do that?"

"With practice Inuoka-chan."

"Ehhh?!"

"You got this." F/n gave him a thumbs up. "Also not dropping the chan."

"I was hoping you would," he whined.

"It'll be fine. All you have to do is zoom and go bang!"

"That sounds hard."

"What are you two even saying?" Yaku interrupted.

"Just explaining how his spiking approach should be," F/n replied, going back to gwaaa-ing. "And then it goes splat."

"Splat?"

"Yeah like, waaaa to bam. The splat is at the end."

"What sense did that make!?" Their teammates exclaimed.

"F/n! I need help! Waaaaaa!"

"Yes, I'll help you pass. We can head to my place after practice."

"Wait what?" Lev said.

"Thanks!"

"Wait, that was intended?" Lev asked even more confused. F/n shrugged, returning to their phone.

"Say, Lev, how is blocking going for you?"

"Kuroo-san is such a bad teacher."

"I'll make sure to relay the message."

It was time for F/n to walk their happy-go-lucky friend to class after morning practice. Kuroo and Yaku (surprisingly) decided to tag along.

"Did you see me today! I was all like whoosh and boom and bam!" Inuoka said with exaggerated arm motions.

"Yes, your receives and spikes have improved. But you still need some work," F/n replied, yawning.
