Chapter 37- "Do You Love Me?"

Jungkook came back into my room, but I was still on the phone. 

He signaled me to hang up. 

I nodded. 

I said goodbye to Wendy, and then hung up. 

Jungkook grabbed my hand and stood me up. 

"What happened..?" I asked, confused. 

"You love me, right?" He asked without any context.

"I just told you that I did only a couple of minutes ago.." I reminded him. 

"But, why do you love me?" He asked. 

"Um.. I don't know how to answer that.." I told him. 

"You're going to have to answer it." He said, strictly. 

"Jungkook, what's gotten into you? You were fine a couple of minutes ago!"  

"Look, just answer the question." He told me in annoyance.

  "You know what, I won't." I said as I snatched my hand away from him. 

I walked away from him. 

He grabbed my waist from behind and turned me around to face him. 

"I said answer the question!" He repeated himself. 

"And I said that I won't! Don't  make me change my mind about what I said, I can take it back!" I threatened. 

He smirked. "You'd only wish you could. I'm in your heart, baby." 

I scowled at him. 

"So tell me, why do you love me?" He asked again. 

"I don't." 

His eyes softened. 

"Yes.. Yes you do.. Don't lie to me!" He said, slightly raising his voice. 

"Well, then don't question it!" I shouted at him. 

"Okay, Okay! I'm sorry.." He said as he pouted and pulled me closer to him.

  "Let me go. I wanna talk to Wendy again. You made me hang up on her, so I thought you would have something important to talk to me about." I said as I tried to loosen his grip. 

"No, I'm not gonna let you go now that I'm this close to you." He whispered into my ear. 

You felt a shiver go down my spine. 

"That's enough.." I told him, still trying to get his hands off of me. 

"I don't think so." He whispered. 

He leaned in to kiss me, but I pushed his face away with my hand.

 Someone knocked at the door. 

"I'll open it." I told him as he slowly and hesitantly let go of me. 

He followed me.

"Hey, chubs!!!" Baekhyun exclaimed as he jumped into my arms. 

"Hey, Bacon!" I replied. 

I pulled his arm and signaled him to come inside. 

He did and then his face stiffened once he saw Jungkook.
