Your lie (Levi • Reader)

No regrets

You turned your head briskly at the sound.
"I'm sorry.", you said with an apologetic expression.
"I was still making out with Mark."

Levi gave you a dark glare, making you laugh.
"Tch. Funny."

"Yeah it was fun, you should've joined."

Levi disgusted:
"..."

Giggling, you lowered your look.
"Theoretically I'm outside like you told me to, but I'm just kidding. I guess I needed some time for myself.", you spoke, while Levi looked at you monotonically.
"How did you find me anyways?"

"I didn't. After you didn't appear, I went for a walk."
He raised a brow at you.
"And here you are already, getting dirty again."

You rolled your eyes.
"It's just water."

"Get out of there, it's probably filthy.", he said.

"Nah, you come in."

"Tch. Forget about it.", he scoffed, extending his hand for you to get out.
"Come on idiot, I'll clean you."

Taking his hand slowly, a malicious smirk found its way into your expression as well.

His eyes widened minimally.
"Don't you even-"

Before he could end, you pulled him in, causing him to stumble and fall into the water clumsily.
"Ugh."

You had pulled him in strongly, causing you to get even further into the lake, so that the water already covered your chest.
Levi's soaking wet head immediately left the water's surface, as he lifted his angry face to you.
"You bratty-", he scolded, while you laughed your ass off with the sound reverberating through the depths of the forest not too far away from the two of you.

He frowned and splashed water over your face, while you still laughed.
"Eh?", you complained.
"You're behaving like a child."

Levi glared at you annoyed, while you smirked.
"Ohh no.", you imitated him, over-dramatically shifting your disgusted eyes to the water again.
"That's not sterilised water from my own holy, sacred bathroom-", before you could continue, Levi splashed more water into your direction, making you grin even brighter.

"Huh?", you gave out.
You were quick to return his gesture, finding yourself in a competition of who could make the other one wetter.
Jumping nearer, you covered your face, since Levi created overwhelming waves of splashes over you.

"Hey!", you exclaimed, pushing him away teasingly. Levi went with the back of his wrist over his face, removing the droplets hindering him from seeing clearly.

You used the moment to take revenge, but he frowned and pushed you away as well, whereafter you returned.
"Stop!", you giggled, pressing him down.

He furrowed his brows, before giving in to you and diving into the water.
"Tss, okay loser.", you mocked, even though he didn't hear you.
"I already knew I would win, but I expected a little more from you.", you said, while backing off and crossing your arms pleased.

Awaiting for him to emerge from the surface again, you were left perplexed. Your eyebrows raised slightly, since even after a few moments his figure was nowhere to be seen.

You staggered:
"Levi?"

Suddenly something gripped around your waist and pulled you down as well. You took in a deep breath, before you dipped down too.
You got hold of Levi's arms underwater and pulled yourself up again to catch a breath and laugh even harder.
"You jerk!"", you called with a beaming face.

Fluttering your wet lashes open, your eyes were acquainted with the sight of a cheekily smiling Levi above you.
"Even.", he whispered.

Shaking your head in refusal, you frowned in resistance.
"You wish."
