More info: Mozu X Male! Reader
(S/N)= Sister name

Hey guys!
This is going to be the last request I'm going to complete during my vacation (last day already rip ;-;)
Anyways, this was requested by @jlogano22!
I hope I didn't make Mozu OOC in this. It's been like 3 years since I last played Birthright ;-;
Enjoy!

Before joining the army with his friend, Mozu and his sister, (Y/N) was a boy who lived in a village of Hoshido with his mother and sister.

When he learnt that he was going to join the Hoshidan Army, (Y/N) was quite excited and left his village on a happy note, but now, after a few months, he was starting to feel homesick, and often found himself staying by himself in his room after training and fights.

Mozu, who had noticed his recent behavior and attitude, wished to do something to cheer him up. But she didn't really know what...

She thought long and hard of soemthing he'd like, by going back on old conversations they had where he would talk about his likes.

And suddenly, one day, she recalled of a specific conversation they had when they were talking about favorite foods.

'You know, Mozu, do you remember of that vegetable soup my ma used to make? You know the one! Well, I kind of miss that, you know... It was so good!'

Jumping out of her seat, Mozu exclaimed proudly, 'I know! I'll make him that vegetable soup he talked about! I'm sure he'd be really happy to eat some after so long!'

But as much as she was happy to have found something to cheer him up, Mozu didn't actually know the ingredients to that soup. And so, instead of asking him directly in order to keep the whole thing a secret (because asking out of the blue for the soup recipe was weird), she decided to ask his older sister instead, who had left the village with him to join the Hoshidan Army.

When Mozu asked (S/N) about that famous soup recipe, (S/N) couldn't help but feel a bit curious about her friend's intentions. Mozu was not that surprised, but she did hope just a little bit that she didn't have to reveal the (Y/N)'s surprise.

"Well, Mozu, why do you want to know that recipe anyway? To be honest, it's not even that good, only (Y/N) likes it, ya know-" (S/N) stopped, and started to understand the whole idea. She smirked, "I know what this is about, you silly, little girl- Nothing passes under my nose! Tell me if I'm wrong but... You want to make him that soup, don't ya?"

Mozu averted her gaze. She was caught in her act, "Well... Yeah- But he really needs it! The boy's so sad all the time, and homesick! So I thought that to cheer him up, I should just make his ma's soup!"

(S/N) brought her hand to her chin, "Well, it's not a bad idea... He really likes mom's soup... Like A LOT. So you know what?" She looked back at Mozu, "I'll help ya make that soup for him."

Mozu's face lit up, "Really?"

"Yeah! Why not?"

"Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you!" The littler girl grabbed (S/N) into a tight embrace, making her chuckle at the girl's child like manners.

Looking up at her, she smiled, with sparkles in her eyes, "Let's get to work right now!"

~~~~~~~
And so, Mozu and (S/N) got to work. First of all, they had to buy the ingredients necessary to make the soup, then they started to actually make it.
Mozu was a bit clumsy when it came to handling knives, so she left the whole cutting vegetables to (S/N) who handled it like a true professional. The young village girl was only able to stare in awe at (Y/N)'s sister's expertise.
With a smile and a wink, (S/N) clarified, "When ma had lots of work to do on the farm, I was the one to actually cook him the soup. Our ma taught us all about it, but I was the only one who actually could make a decent replica."
Mozu titled her head to the side, "(Y/N) doesn't know how to cook?"
"The boy's got no talent for cooking, and never will. He's a clumsy mess, with his head always in the clouds- A real airhead."
At the harsh words (S/N) spoke with such ease about her brother, Mozu voudront help but feel a bit offended and hurt, as if those words were for her.
"H-Hey! He may have his head in the clouds most of the time, but he ain't an airhead! He's a smart boy! And he isn't clumsy either! He can wield a spear like nobody!"
(S/N) chuckled at how cute the girl was, defending her brother like that.
'This Mozu could be a perfect match for him...' She thought to herself.
"Whatever you say, little girl," (S/N) simply said, shrugging, "Now, fetch me some hot water."
Mozu obeyed her orders without questioning her. And so, they went back to cooking.
~~~~~~~~

"Ah! Finally done! It took a little while. Mozu, grab me a bowl and a basket to out the bowl of soup in- Oh, and a towel to wrap the soup in. Quick!"

"Wait! Let me do it! You did most of the cooking so let me do the packaging!"

A bit reluctant, (S/N) gave into the girl plea, "Fine. It was your idea after all. But make sure to give it to him now. Ya don't want to give him cold soup as a gift after all. It'll only make the boy sadder, and we don't want that."

~~~~~~
After doing exactly as (S/N) ordered her to do, Mozu headed to (Y/N)'s private quarters with her basket.
Knocking on the door, it took a little while for him to reach the door.
As he opened the door and noticed Mozu, he gave her a small smile, that didn't quite reach his ears. He was probably still a bit homesick...
'Well, when I'll give him this soup, he won't be sad in a long time!' Mozu told herself.
She was fairly excited to hand the soup to him.
"Oh, hello, Mozu..."
"Heya, (Y/N)! I brought ya something!"
His eyes widened, "Really?"
"Yep!" She showed of her basket.
A delightful smell came out of it that was awfully familiar to the young boy.
His face lit up, "That smell... I-It's my ma's soup! It is, isn't it? Is it, Mozu?"
She nodded happily and handed the basket over to him, "Yep. Your sissy made it, but I helped her and gave her the idea! Since you've been feeling kinda homesick lately, I thought something like this could cheer ya up!"
(Y/N) couldn't help but blush a little at the gift. He couldn't wait to taste it.
"Well, thanks a whole lots, Mozu. Means the world to me..."
An idea popped into his head, "Say... Have you ever tasted my ma's soup, Mozu?"
"Never did. Why you ask?"
"Well... Would you like to try it?"
A bit surprised, she titled her head to the side (it rimes lol), "Hum, now?"
He smiled, "Yeah! It's hella good! You'll see!"
It was Mozu's turn to smile and blush a little, "Oh, hum, s-sure!"
"Great! Come inside! You're gonna love it, Mozu!"
With one hand, (Y/N) held the basket, and with the other, he took Mozu's hand and dragged her inside, excited to make her try his mother's special soup, made by his dear sister.
