Honeypool awoke later than usual. Leafbare was a quiet time. No herbs grew now, and she rarely left camp other than for half-moon visits and for Gatherings. Her biggest concern was keeping the Clan healthy, and her herb supply as stocked as she could keep it. Thankfully, the Clan was healthy, and she wanted to keep it that way.

It had been a few days since PineClan scent had been found at the ravine. Everything had been quiet, but Hawkstar hadn't let up on scent-marking the border. She agreed with her leader's assessment of the situation. PineClan was too dangerous to be trusted. It was far better to be safe than sorry.

Honeypool checked in on the elders, sunned herself in theweak leafbare sun before sharing prey with the rest of the Clan when thepatrols returned. It had been a quiet, peaceful day but she couldn't ignore theseed of worry that was beginning to grow. How much longer would this last?
