Brina's POV
"Danielle is missing!"
Cadmus said it to me with worry right after I opened the door of our backstage room. That three words froze me so hard that I even forget to breathe not until Cadmus lightly shook my body.
Immense thoughts came flooding my mind all at once! And I don't like what they are.
Danielle should be fine.
I kept thinking that but certain scenes kept overpowering that thought.

Did Z, for the first time have her data wrong?
That scenes kept bugging me and it is starting to eat me up. Countless of what-ifs are surging me.
And for the first time, I wish I really did have the data wrong.
Because what if I did not got the data wrong? What if I did not investigated thoroughly? What if L is in danger right now? What if I continued digging deeper instead of training for the tournament? What if I–
"Tsilla! Are you okay?" I saw Cadmus in front of me looking so worried. I wish I can answer his question right now, but I can't.
"How did she go missing?" Instead of answering his question, I asked him another question.
He then sighed first before answering me, "She actually followed you outside but after a minutes a guard came here with the bad news."
Wait. That confuses me, so I asked again, "How did the guard knew it was Danielle and our backstage room or even our team members?"
That's what confuses me! It is like the guard knew who, where and what to do if that event happen. Is it planned? Ugh! There's so many loophole I could think of but no one came as plausible.
"The guard said someone informed him about our details and about L, he actually witness a girl getting dragged but was too late to stop it." Caiden answered me this time.
Then followed by Lorcan's statement, "He actually gave us this and said it was in the ground where the event happened."
Lorcan gave me something and when I looked, it is the matte black compact mirror. Then as if on cue, something flickered on my mind.
And so without a doubt, I immediately took my bag in a hurry but Cadmus grabbed my hand making me stop what I was doing.
"What are you planning?" I also saw how Lorcan and Caiden looked at me with worry in their eyes.
I sighed in defeated before answering them, "I might have to investigate."
"What?! You know it is dangerous!" Cadmus snapped.
"He was right Brina, I already contacted Mr. Lowell so rest assured that they are now locating her." Lorcan said in hoping that would change my mind but it is not.
"You three will need to stay here as the competition is still ongoing but you can help by updating me with Mr. Lowell's status since you are close to him. Lorcan can also try to find Danielle whereabouts through your tablet, Caiden just as usual, can be our look out for the media, and Cadmus you can help using your status. You can all do that while you are here."
I explained to them but before they can asked again, I continue with, "Teamwork is what we need not an argument."
That made them silence for a while and I don't wish to waste the time so I speak again,
"I will never be assured. I have to go." I said with finality. I thought Cadmus will snapped again but I was shocked when he hugged me.
"I don't know your silent battles, but I am always here, okay?" He said while tapping my back lightly, "I trust you, Tsilla. Just please be safe."
The he let me go and so I instantly walked out.

I plan to track her on the Arxiu Room as I can fully be Zero there. I have all the equipment I can use not unlike the others which I can only exposed one laptop so that it would not be suspicious.
"Why are you back so ear–" I heard mom's voice but I chose to ignored it as I ran towards my room.
Without wasting time, I immediately go inside the Arxiu Room and open everything I need to open.
I close my eyes, took a deep breathe then concentrated for a while. And once I opened my eyes, I am now Z.
The real one. The Z before.
I right away did my business. This time, I dig way deeper at every little details.
The continuous sound of a keyboard being press and a low beep sound dominated the whole room. My fingers move so fast that an average person would not catch it.
This continue for a while not until I heard a loud and long beep sound. This can only mean, it is complete now. Every single details.
After reviewing the information. I suddenly can't feel anything. Like I am numb and the surrounding is blurred. I can only hear my rapid beating of my heart and my chaotic mind who as of the moment are panicking of what to do.
I now understand everything. Damn!
Mirror is the very key in this case. Noir Rose's targets act like a mirror, meaning there are always two possible targets but only one victim. They both are always around from each other but no one will know who will be unlucky victim.
And what can identify those two targets?
Mirror. Specifically the matte black compact mirror.
Yes, they gave their targets a mirror but one of it is fake. They will disguised it as real and identical to one another but if you look closely there's a very slight difference.
The sad thing is... I don't know what that freaking difference is! No matter how hard I tried to picture out L and Lucas' mirrors, I can't seem to find the difference.
It also make sense now that I saw Lucas outside the venue when in fact he don't have even a slight interest in that kind of competition nor games in general. Ugh why did I not noticed that before!
And also by now, I am sure Lucas is also missing. Meaning, we have to find both of them as we don't have a slight clue on who will be the next victim between them.
My phone suddenly rang and so I was brought out from my deep thoughts. I picked it up then answered the call without looking for the caller's ID.
"The event is over n–"
"Great. Same as before. Look for Lucas while I look for L." I did not let Cadmus to finish his word, "This time, I can't be wrong."
"What?! You'll act by yourself again?" His voice clearly told me that he is against this.
"No. I got you remember?" That made him silent for a while so I continue, "I got Supreme Kairos right?"
"Yes."
"Then I am not alone." I said trying to convince him while I ran towards the car I'll be using, "We are working as a Team, Lux."
He became more silent this time and so I spoke again before hanging up the call, "I'll send you the data in a minute. In the meantime, look for Lucas. Locked his location. He's one of the key to this case."
I told L that she will meet her friend, I will make sure it will happen.
