gabbys POV
I woke up and felt disgusting, I got in the shower and was in there for like an hour.
"gab let's go your using all the hot water" zac yelled from downstairs.
I turned the water off and got out then put on running shorts and a tshirt and put my hair up.
I didn't feel like putting on makeup so I didn't.
"zac I'm going to Hayes'" I said
"okay tell him I said happy birthday" zac said
"yeah from me too" I heard Dylan say.
"DYL" I screamed and ran into the kitchen and saw him sitting there.
I ran right into his arms and he almost fell.
"try not to kill me" Dylan said
"you're home" I said
"yes I am" he said
"I missed you, and I'm sorry about e-" he cut me off
"everything before this moment is in the past, forgave and forgotten. let's focus on now" he said
"my Dyls back" I said
"gab you can let go now" he said
"I love you" I said
"I love you too" he said
"dyl come with me to Hayes" I said
"no go enjoy his birthday with him then come here after and we can all hang out" Dylan said
"no, I'll stay here. I missed you too much" I said
"go with Hayes and have fun" Dylan said
"dyl I don't want to" I said
"hello" zac said and I looked over and he was on the phone, his face dropped.
"but you can't do that, they put him up for adoption and I adopted him. he's my son now" zac said
"what do you mean they'll be here in 30 minutes. he my son, I have full custody until he's 18. you can't do this" he said
the phone hung up.
"Gavin's parents went to the adoption agency today to get him back and now they're taking him from me. they can't do this" zac said and tears forming in his eyes.
"where is he?" I asked
"he's upstairs sleeping still" zac said

"UNCLE DYALN" Gavin yelled and wrapped his arms around Dylan's legs and Dylan picked him up and hugged him.
"daddy, my belly hurts" Gavin said
"how bout we go change you and then get you some breakfast and see if you feel better" zac said
"yeahhhhh!!" he cheered.
zac picked him up and made airplane sounds while carrying him like super man up the steps.
"Zacs gonna be a mess" I said
"maybe you should stay home today and help me with him please" Dylan said
"of course, family before everything" I said
zac came down stairs carrying Gavin a few minutes later and set him down in the chair next to Dylan.
"do you want pancakes or cereal?" zac asked
"fruit loopies" Gavin said
zac got the fruit loops and milk and made gav cereal and then gave it to him.
"gav listen to daddy. people are gonna come here soon and take you. don't be scared, they're really nice and daddy's gonna be back for you buddy, ok?" zac asked
"okay, is it uncle Dave or Hayes?" Gavin said
"no buddy, it's people we don't know. but daddy's gonna be back for you okay?" zac said and I could hear his voice crack.
I heard a knock on the door.
"I'll get it" Dylan said
Dyl got up and went to the door and it was just Hayes, "hey happy birthday pal, come on in" Dylan said and Hayes came in.
"happy birthday, you're more than welcome to stay but I would just go sit on the couch for like 20 minutes" I said
"I'll go downstair, I need to charge my phone anyway" Hayes said and went down.
I heard another knock on the door.
"I'll get it" Dylan said
"hi, were child services here to pick up Gavin efron, the last name efron will be removed within the next 25 hours and anyone that has that last name may not contact him until he his over 18 years old and will be told no information regarding him, if those demands are disobeyed, charges will be pressed" a lady said
they walked in and picked Gavin up, "DADDY NO" he yelled
"I told you it's gonna be ok, I'll be back for you Gavin. I love you" zac said
"DADDY NO PLEASE AUNT GABBY UNCLE DYLAN NOOO HELP" he screamed and the door was shut and that was all I could hear.
"FUCK" zac yelled and broke down in tears.
"you're gonna get him back" Dylan said
"that's not fair at all, I did nothing wrong so why was I fined for it" zac said
"I don't know, I'm sorry dude" Dylan said
"I'll be back" zac said and grabbed his keys.
I grabbed his arm, "zac don't do any thing stupid, do not go and try and get him right now, you need to give it a couple days" I said
"I'm not, I'm going to the bar to meet someone" he said
"zac no you're not, that is the last place you're going. you have been sober for over a year now, don't screw it up now" I said
"Dylan I'm scared" zac said
"I know bro" Dylan said and hugged zac.
"gab I love you but I can't let you know I'm scared, I'm supposed to be your strong role model" zac said
"you can always tell me when you're scared, it's not gonna make me think you're weak. everyone gets scared zac" I said
"I love you kiddo" zac said and kissed my head.
"I'm just gonna go take a shower and a nap and cool off guys, thanks for being here" zac said and went upstairs.
"he'll be okay, don't worry about him drinking. he's not gonna, he's strong" Dylan said
"I know" I said
"go take Hayes out for his birthday, I'll take care of zac" Dylan said
I went upstairs and got changed into a black sundress and sandals and curled my hair and did my makeup.
I went downstairs and saw Hayes sleeping on the couch.
I sat on the other couch and put TV on and watched cupcake wars(yes I get it I'm almost 17, but I love that show) on.
Hayes woke up half way through my episode, "good morning" I said
"morning" he said and sat up.
"how about we go out for the day, just us" I said
"sounds like a good plan to me" Hayes said
"Hayes I know it's your birthday and all so I should be drivi-" he cut me off.
"I'll drive" he said
"thank you" I said
"you look gorgeous by the way" Hayes said
"I love you" I said
"I love you too" he said
we got in his truck and decided to go to Olive Garden and get lunch.
we sat down and both got Alfredo.
we ate everything then decided to not get dessert and go to an ice cream shop instead.
we got back in the car and Hayes drove for a little while, like an hour and a half until we got to this cute tiny little ice cream shop, it was quiet with 2 little kids running around outside.
we went inside and ordered our ice cream, I got chocolate and Hayes got mint chocolate chip and we sat down and ate.
"after this, my favorite thing to do is watch the sun set in this certain spot around the corner, can we go?" Hayes asked
"of course, you're the birthday boy" I said
we finished eating our ice cream then cleaned up and left.
we drove to this place that was right around the corner and I got out and held Hayes hand and waked down to this beautiful beach, it was breath taking.
we sat down on this big rock they had, "gab are you okay? you're being quiet today and keep checking your phone" Hayes asked
"yeah, sorry I'll stop" I said
"no, of somethings wrong I just want you to know you can talk about it" Hayes said
"yeah I know, thanks" I said
we both stopped talking and just watched the sun set, it was absolutely gorgeous but al li could think about it what's going through Zacs head.
I started feeling bad and just wanted to go home but today's Hayes birthday and I'm not ruining it.
I felt a tear roll down my face and I ignored it so Hayes wouldn't see.
Hayes must of noticed because after a minute he pulled me into his chest.
I just cried in his chest and he rubbed my back.
"hey Hayes sorry I can't wait any longer, I've gotta meet another guy. how many ounces do you want. and just weed or do you want other stuff?" the guy asked
"what?" Hayes asked
"dude it's me Jeff" the guy said
"Hayes I don't know if he's kidding or not but it's also not my business, do what you have to" I said and got up.
"gab no" Hayes said and followed me.
"Hayes leave me be" I said
"gab I swear it's not what it looks like" Hayes said
"pinky promise me that" I said and he just looked at me blankly.
"exactly Hayes. now leave me alone and enjoy your birthday" I said and walked away.
I walked back to the ice cream shop and called an uber, the uber showed up and I got in and gave him the address and he started driving, "I have waters at your feet, compliment of your ride" he said
"thank you" I said and opened one and drank it.
"you're cute" he said
"and you're 50" I said
"I'm 49" he said
"ok sorry" I said
"let's stop at the club baby girl" he said
"no let's not" I said
"you're gonna do what I say or get out" he said
"okay then let me out" I said
next thing I know there was a fist coming at my face and hit me fight in the eye.
I opened the door and got out, thank god I was only around the corner from my house.
I walked him and walked inside and zac looked at me.
"who the hell laid their hands on you? was it a guy, I swear to god I'll kill Hayes, where was Hayes when this happened?" zac asked and grabbed me by the shoulders.
"can I just go to bed?" I asked
"gab you need stitches" zac said
"and how much did you have to drink?" he asked
"no zac I'm ok and nothing other than coke when we were at lunch" I said
"come on" he said and picked me up over his shoulder and put me in the car and drove to the ER.
"how did you get home?" he asked
"an uber" I said
"did the uber driver hit you?" zac asked
"yeah and he gave me a water" I said
"okay, you'll be fine" zac said and we pulled up to the ER and that's when things started getting black, the last I remember was zac carrying me into the ER telling me to stay awake.
