chapter 59

gabbys POV

me and kayla stayed at a hotel and drove all the next day until we got to my beach house and slept.

we've been here for about 2 weeks now.

I woke up to my phone ringing and ringing, it was Hayes, I decided to answer.

h-Hayes g-gab
g-hello
h-where are you
g-don't worry about it
h-gab please I'm worried sick
g-Hayes I'm fine, I'm safe
h-who's that talking in the back?
g-don't worry about it, bye
h-no gab wait
g-what
h-please tell me where you are
g-bye

I hung up and got up, kayla was in my room talking, "gab we need to go food and clothes shopping"

"I know, I'm gonna shower and change then we'll go" I said

I got in the shower then put on running shorts and a tshirt and flip flops.

I fish tailed my hair and we left.

we got dunkin donuts then went to the mall and got clothes and all.

we went food shopping and got so much stuff and brought it back to the house.

"let's unpack and hit the beach?" I asked

"let's" kayla said

we put all the food away then got changed into our bathing suits.

I put my sunglasses and flip flops on and we left.

we got to the beach and got right into the water.

we swam for about an hour then got out tanned for a little while.

"let's go get pizza" kayla said

we went up to the board walk and sat in a pizza shop and ate.

"back to the beach" kayla said

"hey" some guy our age said and sat next to us.

"bye" I said

"are you guys going down to the beach?" he asked

"yeah" kayla said

"can me and my friend come and hang out with you guys" he asked and kayla answered before I could.

"yeah of course" she said and we all started walking down to the beach.

"kay I'm gonna sit for a little, I'm meet you guys there" I said and sat on a bench and they kept walking.

something just doesn't feel right, I need to go home.

literally on que as I sat there thinking that, I saw Hayes walking towards me crying.

I stood up and he just leaned down and put his head on my shoulder and hugged me.

"gab please come home, it took me forever to find you and I finally did and I'm not not letting you leave me again. I need you, I can't live life without my best friend" he said

"I'm coming home" I said

"let's go, time to go back. the guys and zac and Gavin and Dylan and everyone miss you like crazy" Hayes said

"is Dylan back?" I asked

"not fully because you're not there" Hayes said

"time to go home and help him" I said

"alright let's go" Hayes said and picked me up and started walking while I laughed.

"put me down let me go get kayla" I said

"kayla?" Hayes asked

"yeah" I said and ran down the beach and Hayes followed me.

as soon as he saw her he hugged her, "KAY YOURE BACK" he yelled

"just for another week then the people I'm living with come back from vacation" she said

"do they know you're here?" Hayes asked

"no" Kay said

"so they went on vacation without you?" he asked

"yeah they always do" kayla said

"aw" Hayes said and hugged her.

"well we're going home, let's go" Hayes said

we got in my car an Hayes drove his and we went back to the beach house and got stuff and locked it up.

kayla drove with me and Hayes drove by himself the whole way home.

by the time we got home it was about 9 the next night and we were all exhausted.

I walked I asked and saw zac look up from the counter in shock.

"kayla" he said

"hi" she said

"gab come here" zac said and hugged me really tight and started crying on me.

"zac it's okay, I'm sorry. I won't ever do that again it's just, I don't even know. I'm so sorry." I said

"I love you" zac said

"I love you too" I said

"where's Dylan?" I asked

"sit down kiddo" zac said

I sat down at the counter and saw Dylan obrien come in, "GAB" he said and ran and hugged me.

"zac talk" I said

"we had to put dyl in a mental hospital kiddo, he's on what they call 2 week black out. we aren't allowed to see or contact him in 2 weeks" zac said

"how much longer is he there?" I asked

"he went today, but listen, he's gonna be okay" zac said

"yeah, hey I'm exhausted, I'm gonna go to sleep" I said

"me too" kayla said

"me 3" Hayes said

I went upstairs and into my room and shut the door, I didn't want Hayes or kayla to come in.

I layed down and tried not to think about anything and I feel right asleep.
