gabbys POV

zac opened the door and Hayes wasn't there or anywhere around.

"he probably went home, don't worry about it" Nash said

"I'll be back" I said and grabbed my keys and started driving towards the guys house when I saw Hayes walking at the end of the block.

I stopped the car and rolled the window down, "Hayes get in" I said

he just kept walking, "Hayes please, you're gonna get sick" I said.

he was being stubborn, I pulled over and got out and stood there, "don't do this now" Hayes said

"please just get in, I'll drive you home or wherever you're going" I said

"gab it's cold and raining please just get in the car and go home" Hayes said

"not until you do" I said

he grunted and got in the car so I did too.

"We're going somewhere to sit down and talk" I said

"are you finally gonna let me talk and not get mad right away?" Hayes asked

"yeah, I've gained my patience back" I said

"let's go yo Starbucks" Hayes said

I drove to Starbucks and me and Hayes ran inside and he insisted on buying the drinks and we sat down.

"gab let me talk first, remember my friend Jeff from before I ever even knew you, I told you stories about him?" Hayes asked

"yeah, we don't like him right?" I asked

"yeah, so when I was 13, 4 and a half years ago, I was out with him, he pups drive because he was older. he knew that this was my favorite place to go, when Nash first moved it was right around here. one day he asked me if I wanted to go there and play football for a little bit and meet up with one of his friends so I said yeah. we met up with the friend and he gave Jeff a bag and then Jeff handed him money. then he was like alright here's the stuff and handed me a bag, I got what was going on at this point so I said no and handed it back. him and Jeff beat me up right there and then because I wouldn't take it, they beat me till I couldn't move and left, I had to call Nash and he had to come here and pick me up off of the ground. I haven't talked to Jeff since. the guy saw me and is trying to get back at me still" Hayes said

"Hayes I'm sorry, I should've listened sooner" I said

"no it's fine, I would've done the same thing if I was in your position, I wouldn't wanna date someone and have a future with someone who does drugs. I would be scared at the thought of having kids with someone who is around drugs and putting my kids in that danger. you were right gab" he said

"I was just scared" I said

"are we good? back to us? I'm sorry and I love you" Hayes said

"I'm sorry about the whole guy coming over thing, I'm still mad at myself for that and for not listening to you sooner. I hope we're good" I said

"no it's fine, lets just forget about all this mess, back to normal now" Hayes said

"good, I missed you" I said

"I missed you too, trust me" Hayes said

"let's go home" I said

we got up and Hayes held the door for me like usual and we got in the car and I drove home, we talked the whole way, it was like nothing ever happened.

"guess who's birthdays in a week" Hayes said

"mine" I said

"no, zans. well yours too I guess" Hayes said

"I hate you" I said and laughed

"I'm just kidding, of course yours but have to give your present tomorrow" Hayes said

"oh what is it" I said

"you'll find out tomorrow" Hayes said

"ughhhhhh"

we pulled up to my house and went inside and all the guys had left so it was just kayla, zac, and dyl.

zac and Dylan were laying on the couches watching a movie and kayla was in the kitchen on a laptop.

"can we go in the movie room and watch a movie?" I asked

"yes please" zac said

we went into the movie room and laid down and I put on the longest ride, "Hayes if Scott Eastwood ever asked me to go on a date with him you would understand right?" I asked

"if Scott Eastwood asked you to go on a date and you didn't I would break up with you then go on it" Hayes said

"found your man crush" I said

"he is" Hayes said

I took a picture of him and put it on my story with the caption, "boys in love with Scott Eastwood"

we laid down and both eventually fell asleep in the middle of the movie, it was nice to finally have my Hayes back.
