gabriellas POV

I woke up and went downstairs and saw a lady with a girl sitting on her lap that looks about 6.

"hi you must be Gabriella" she said

"yeah" I said

"I'm Lauren and this is my daughter julia. she was involved in the kidnapping and I just wanna get some answers from someone older. I've Gina to about 10 houses and they're all little kids except for 1 which was a girl your age but she would tell me anything" Lauren said

"do you want her to hear it, do you wanna talk here or go somewhere?" I asked

"No she can come and sure do you wanna go to the park or something so she can play on the play ground?" Lauren asked

"of course, can you give me about 5 minutes to get changed?" I asked

"of course" she said

I went upstairs and got changed into Jean shorts and a vneck and I put my hair up and put on converse.

I have magcon today, but I'm gonna be late.

I texted Hayes. "hey Hayes, I'm gonna be a little late today, I'll meet you at the show."

I put my phone in my back pocket and went downstairs.

"okay ready?" she asked

"yeah, let's go" I said

we left and got to the park and julia went right on the play ground.

me and Lauren sat on a bench and I just started taking.

"we were basically used as prostitutes, they would sell us and then get us back the next morning. we were barley fed and every now and then the man that bought us would beat us. we didn't have a bed, we had our own tiny room which was just cold cement and a toilet. it was scary for me and I'm 15, I can't imagine how it would be for 6 year old" I said

"I can't thank you enough for answering my questions, can I take you out to lunch?" she asked

"how about I spend a day with julia, see if she'll talk to someone about it that was there. I would love to help her" I said

"you would do that?" she asked

"of course" I said

"okay hoe about I pick her up at your house at 8?" she asked

"sounds perfect" I said

her mom left and I let her play for 10 more minutes.

"hey julia, I'm Maura, you're gonna spend the day with me, okay?" I asked

"okay, are we leaving?" she asked

"yeah come on" I said

she put her arms up so i picked her up and the venu was only a 15 minute walk away so I just walked.

I got there and she could hear the fans from outside, she gripped onto me and buried he head in my shoulder.

"it's gonna be loud, but it's okay, I promise, I'm not gonna let go of you" I said

I went inside and put my sunglasses and water backstage.
