gabbys POV

I woke up and went to check my phone when I realized it was off.

I turned it on and saw that I had texts and missed calls from Hayes.

h-Hayes g-gabby
h-saw ur post on Instagram, is everything ok?
h-gab?
h-I'm always here to talk, please answer me so ik you're okay
h-gab, I'm worried sick rn
g-sorry, my phone was off, my mom passed away
h-oh my gosh gab, I'm so sorry, please let me know what I can do to help
g-thanks Hayes, and nothing but thank you
h-If you need to get out of your house let me know, you can always come here
g-thank you Hayes, I gotta go, I'll text you when I can
h-alright, love you, keep your head up bud
g-I love you too

I got out of bed and went downstairs and saw no one.

I poured my self a glass of water and sat at the counter and drank it then went upstairs and got changed for cheer.

I really don't wanna go.

I went into Dylan's room and he was awake on his phone.

"hey buggy" he said

"I don't wanna go to cheer" I said

"you're not going Gabriella" he said

"I have to though, you don't understand the consequences I'll pay if I don't go" I said

"take it easy for today, you're not going, you just your mom they aren't gonna be mad" he said

"Alright" I said

I heard a knock on the door and Dylan got up to answer it so I layed down in his bed.

he came into the room crying a few minutes later.

"they found male evidence so they're taking me zac and dave in fro questioning, it's just gonna be you here" Dylan said

the cop came in and took him and within 2 minutes the house was empty.

I went into the the family room and saw all of our family pictures and just looked at them.

I went upstairs and put on sweat pants and a tshirt and put my hair in a bun and sat on my bed.

I decided to text Hayes.

h-Hayes g-gabby
g-Hayes I really need someone rn
h-im here, always
g-can we meet up?
h-of course, Starbucks?
g-yeah, see ya in 5

I put on sneakers and went outside and saw cameras flashing.

i walked to Starbucks with the cameras following me and then I saw Hayes waiting outside.

"hey come here" Hayes said and opened his arms and I ran into them and he just hugged me, "I'm so sorry" he said

"they took dave and zac and Dylan and left me alone, how could they try and accuse then of this?" I said

"they're trying to accuse them? and did you stay alone all night last night?" Hayes asked

"no, they took them this morning and just left within 2 minutes they were all gone in handcuffs and then I left and was followed by them, I need to go inside somewhere I can't take them" I said and buried my head in his chest.
