gabbys POV

I woke up to someone knocking on the door, I went downstairs and no one was home.

I opened the door and my dad, he's supposed to be in jail for life

"dad?" I asked

"Gabriella, I heard about kayla. Come give your dad a hug" he said

"you don't deserve to be called dad, why aren't you in jail?" I asked

"I got out on a very expensive bail which means I need a place to stay" he said

"not with us that's for sure" I said

"and I was at the house and saw Zacs letter and the one kayla sent you, so you knew about the plan?" he asked

"if I knew about kaylas plan, kayla would still be alive right now. you really need to leave" I said

"I'm staying at the house, Zacs moving next week, you and Dylan need a guardian" my dad said

"dave lives there, he's a legal guardian" I said

"you need to talk, don't good stuff in, kaylas dead talk about it" he said

"I don't want to talk about it and don't tell me what I need to do. now leave" I said

"you're coming with me, I'm your dad and your gonna listen to me" he said

I pulled out my phone and called zac.

z-hey gab, ill be home soon kiddo, yo-
g-in at Hayes, I don't know where they are and dads here
z-WHAT
G-dads here
z-I'm not gonna be home for a few hours, shut the door and call 911
g-where are the guys?
z-matts home

my dad grabbed the phone out of my hand.

"MATT" I screamed

"huh" I heard from upstairs, he's asleep

"HELP" I screamed as my dad threw my phone at the ground, "I'm your father, your coming with me" he said

"no I'm not, you should be in jail, I don't want you in my life" I said

"dude you need to leave" matt said and grabbed me from my dad who had a tight grip on my arm.

matt put me behind him and my dad started yelling, "THATS MY DAUGHTER SHES COMING WITH ME"

"why would she trust you?" matt asked

"because I'm her father" he said

"you killed her mom and you beat her, you're not taking her if I'm here" matt said

"you better move" my dad said to matt.

"I'm sorry, I can't do that" matt said

he punched matt right across the face.

"gab call 911, I'm gonna pass out, you need the cops to take him" matt said after he hit the ground.

"matt stay awake" I said

he got up and my dad punched him again and he hit the ground and didn't move this time.

"let's go Gabriella" he said

"no, I'm not going anywhere with you, you need to leave" I said

he grabbed my arm and pulled me out the door, "no let go" I yelled

I saw Cameron's car pull up and Nash and Jack g jumped out.

"who are you? let go of her" Nash said
