gabbys POV
I woke up to yelling down stairs, "ALRIGHT I DONT KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU" I heard zac scream
"YOURE AWFUL AT THIS JOB, YOU SHOULD BE TAKING CARE OF THEM AND HIM BEING WBERE HE IS SHOWS THAT YOURE TERRIBLE AT IT. SIGN IVER CUSTODY" I heard my uncle mark yell, I never see him.
him and my aunt fought for custody a few years ago and won it for a day then I was back with zac.
no not this again.
my bedroom door opened and Dave came in, "Dave I haven't seen you in forever" I said
"I know, I was filming a movie, I'm home now" he said
"yay" I said
"is Hayes still here?" I asked
"yeah he's still asleep though" Dave said
"SIGN THE PAPERS OR ILL GO UP THERE AND TAKE HER HOME WITH ME AND WE CAN GO TO COURT WITH THIS AGAIN" he screamed
"lay your hands on her and your done" zac said back
"this is so annoying, I can't wait till I'm 18 so this can't happen" I said
"you'll be 17 in a few days then just 1 more year" Dave said
"yeah 1 more year" I said
"your not leaving us don't worry" Dave said and hugged me.
"I'm just gonna go somewhere else, I can't be bothered to sit in this house and listen to them argue" I said and left my room.
I went downstairs and got clean wash then got in the shower.
I changed into a white sun dress.
I put my hair up in a messy bun and did my makeup then put on sandals and got my keys.
I got in the car and drove to dunkin donuts and got myself and all the guys drinks and donuts.
I drove to the guys house and walked in and they were all just laying in the living room.
"I got you guys dunkin donuts, I couldn't carry it all in so the rest is in my car, I'll go get it" I said
"I'll get it" Nash said and went out.
"where's Hayes?" matt asked
"still asleep at my house" I said
"alright so as you know tomorrow is his birthday so tonight we scheduled a dinner at the melting pot with us, but he doesn't know. I have some of his old football friends coming and all so can you act like your taking him out for just you 2. you have to be there at 6" Nash said
"of course. that'll be fun" I said
"thanks" Nash said
"you okay?" Cameron asked
"yeah" I said
"thank you for the dunkin gab" Grayson said
"yeah thanks" all the guys said
"you're welcome" I said
I heard the door open and saw Hayes come in, "good morning pretty" he said and kissed me.
"oh good morning" matt said
"you are anything but pretty" Hayes said
"did you eat?" Hayes asked
"yeah I got dunkin donuts" I said
"alright just making sure, I'm gonna go grab myself some cereal" Hayes said
"can we go to the mall after that?" I asked
"yeah sure" Hayes said and went into the kitchen.
I sat and talked with the guys till Hayes was done eating and showering and all that.
"come on gabs" he said
"we're going to the mall is anyone coming?" Hayes asked
"nah" Nash said
we got in Hayes car and he started driving, "was my uncle still there when you left?" I asked
"yeah" Hayes said
"fuck" I said
"gab it's gonna be fine, he's not gonna win custody rights you're almost 17, you have a say in it now, it won't even go to court" Hayes said
"yeah you're right" I said
we got to the mall and got out and Hayes just hugged me and I just took it in, "Hayes I love you" I said
"I love you too gab" Hayes said and kissed the top of my head.
"no matter what I'm always here for you, promise me you'll remember that?" Hayes said
"promise" I said
"pinky promise?" Hayes asked and stuck out his pinky.
I let go of him then linked fingers with him, "pinky promise" I said and stamped it.
"let's go shop for a little then eat lunch then shop more" Hayes said
"sounds like a plan" I said
we went in and I got a few rompers and sun dresses and Hayes got some clothes and shoes too.
"come on let's eat" Hayes said
"yeah" I said
"gab stop being down, don't think about it right now. nothing's gonna happen" Hayes said
"I know I know, sorry I'm tired" I said
"do you wanna go home and sit in tonight and nap?" Hayes asked
"no, I made reservations for just us for dinner for your birthday" I said
"you shouldn't of" Hayes said
"happy early birthday handsome" I said
"youre the best" He said
we got in line at chickfila and got food then sat down and ate.
"do you wanna go to my house and get ready now?" I asked
"nap first?" Hayes asked
"yes please" I said
"sounds like a plan" Hayes said
we finished eating and went out to the car and drove to my house.
no one was home.
I set my bags down and layed down on the floor, "why don't you lay on the couch weirdo" Hayes asked
"I'm too tired and want more room" I said
I literally fell asleep within 5 minutes, I don't know why I was so tired.
"gab wake up we've gotta get ready" Hayes said after 2 hours of sleeping.
"I'm up" I said and sat up.
I went upstairs and changed into a cream colored flowy sundress and black toms.
I curled my hair and did my makeup and and then went downstairs and Hayes was ready wearing khaki shorts and a black shirt and vans.
"you look gorgeous" he said and kissed me.
"you do too" I said
"thanks I love being called gorgeous" he said and laughed
"I'll drive, it's your birthday" I said
"finneeee" Hayes said
we got there and I went to the front, "reservations for grier" I said
"you can follow me" she said and brought us into the room where everyone was and they all yelled "SURPRISE"
Hayes gave me the dirtiest look ever, "really gab?" he asked
"wasn't my idea, I had nothing to do this. I was honestly just informed today" I said
"Nash I hate you" Hayes said
Hayes saw all his football friends from North Carolina so he went and said hi to all of them.
"thank you gab" Nash said
"of course" I said
we all sat down and ordered food, Hayes was sitting with his foot ball friends so I just sat next to Cameron and matt, he never sees them so I didn't care.
"gabrielle come on" my uncle said and while walking in the room.
"1 my names not Gabrielle and 2 no" I said
"it's time to go home come on, party's over" he said and started walking towards me.
"no, you are not my parent" I said
"well I am now since you don't have any" he said
I just looked down then got up, "let's go talk outside, this is someone's birthday and you're not gonna ruin it" I said and went outside.
my aunt Jane and uncle mark followed me, "come on just get in the car, we have custody of you now" aunt Jane said
"let me see the papers" I said
"well we're getting them" she said
"no you're not because you're not gonna win" I said
"you don't have parents, you used to, your mom was okay but now she's gone and you have no one except us, so come on. I'll be your mom" she said
"my mom was way more than okay, if anyone's okay it's not you or my mom. because my moms better than amazing and your worse than awful. now get the hell in your car and go home and don't ever try to contact me or my family again." I said
"you're coming with us, don't make a scene" my uncle said
"I'm not coming with you, I'm almost 17, I have a say now and it's certainly not in your favor so get your stuck up asses in the car and leave" I said
"wow you're such a disrespectful piece of crap. we don't even want you in our house any more. go live your little orphan life again" uncle mark said
"you think I asked for my mom to die and my dad to go crazy? no I didn't, I've had a great life with them and you using my moms death against me is completely unrelated to the matter. you are sick" I said
"bye mom less kid" aunt Jane said and they got in the car and left.
I went back inside and sat down.
"did they leave?" Nash asked
I just shook my head yeah.
"hey I don't wanna interrupt Hayes while he's eating and all, I'm just gonna head home. tell him I said happy sorry" I said and got up.
I went outside and pulled my keys out and my phone and called zac.

g-hey are you home?
z-yeah what's up kiddo
g-I'm on my way now
z-alright see ya soon bugger
I hung up and saw Cameron walk out behind me, "what's going on?" he asked
"people are just sick" I said
"what happened?" he asked
"they tried using my moms death as some kind of reasoning then they kept saying I'm an orphan and a mom less kid and stuff, my mom being dead has nothing to do with this" I said
"gab, don't listen to them" Cameron said and hugged me.
"I feel bad leaving but I just need to go home right now" I said
"Hayes will understand that, go home. relax with your family" Cameron said
"thank you" I said and walked to my car then drove home.
I walked inside and the house was quiet and clean and I just wanted to sit down.
"hey how was it?" zac asked
"good" I said
"anything you're not telling me?" he asked and sat down on the couch next to me.
"I didn't wanna worry you, they're gone it's okay" I said
"I know they are and I know it is" he said
"where's Gavin?" I asked
"asleep, he's been up since really early" zac said
"are you sure there's no way I can go or just talk to Dylan please?" I asked
"no, I'm sorry bud" zac said
"I just wanna talk to him zac, I left on bad terms with him. I yelled at him and said mean stuff when he was in a bad spot and I can't stop thinking about it. please zac" I begged
"gab I'm sorry but you know he can't, this is for his own good. he knows that you didn't mean what you said, he's getting help kiddo" zac said and hugged me.
"I've just been messing up really bad lately, first I yelled at Dylan, then I left for 2 weeks, then I told off my aunt and uncle, then I left my boyfriends birthday party super early, and now I'm gonna start crying because I don't know why I keep messing up this much" I said
"how about me and you get up and go back to Hayes birthday party then after we'll get ice cream and come home and watch a movie?" zac asked
I shook my head yeah and got up, "wait who's watching Gavin?" I asked
"Dave is up stairs, I'm just gonna let him know we're going" zac said an ran upstairs.
he came back down a minute later and we got in his car and drove back to melting pot and went in.
"hey little lady" matt said as we walked in.
"hey big guy" I said
we sat down and zac got food and just talked with Nash most of the time so I say with matt, Grayson, and Ethan.
"thanks for everything" Hayes said while standing behind me.
"this was all Nash" I said
"no I don't mean this, I just mean everything. for always being there for me and making me laugh and for being the reason I'm happy. I love you and I really don't know what I would being doing without you Gabriella" Hayes said
"I love you too Hayes" I said
the party started clearing out so me and zac decided to leave.
"gab can I get a ride home with you, I really don't feel good and don't wanna be here much longer?" Grayson asked
"yeah of course" I said
I said bye to all the guys and Hayes and me Grayson and zac got in Zacs car.
"can you pull over I'm gonna be sick" Grayson said
zac pulled over but Grayson three up before we got there.
I smelled the throw up which caused me to throw up.
"I am so sorry, I'll pay to have it all cleaned I'm so sorry" Grayson said
"it's no big deal at all, don't worry about it" zac said and got out and got him a water from the trunk.
"you okay?" zac asked me.
"nope" I said and opened the door and got out and threw up more.
"I'm so sorry, I can't believe I got her sick" Grayson said
"no I think she was getting sick, she's been off today" zac said
I got back in the car and zac dropped Grayson off then we were driving and I started throwing up again and zac just drive fast to the house.
"I'm sorry" I said and started crying once we got home.
"gab it's fine, come on" zac said and opened my door and ended up just picking me up and carrying me up to bed and I feel asleep right away.
