gabbys POV
I woke up on the cold hard ground in pain.
my phone was gone, I looked at the time on the clock hanging on the wall, 2:12am.
I got up and snuck out and ran away as fast as I could.
I ran until I found a police station.
I went inside and saw a cop Coke towards me.
"help me please" I cried
"you're safe, what happened?" he asked
"okay it's a long story basically these people got custody of me today over my brother who should have it and I said I hated he guy and he beat me. I woke up on the ground and ran here as fast as I could, I wanna go home" I said
"you're going home don't worry, he's not gonna touch you again, I'm gonna personally take you home and make sure the person who deserves custody gets it" he said
"I'm from LA" I said
"well we're going to the airport and to LA" he said
we got in his car and to the airport and I was on a plane with him all within an hour.
"I can't thank you enough" I said
"I have 3 kids and this kinda stuff kills me" he said
"you're kids are lucky to have such a great dad" I said
"thank you" he said
the plane landed and we got a taxi, I directed it to my house.
im still in so much pain, I think I need stitches right above my eye and I think my arm is broken.
the taxi pulled up and I saw all the cars in the drive way.
we knocked on the door and zac opened it and hugged me and was crying.
"she's all yours dude, that mans going to jail, I just need his name" the cop said
I grabbed a piece of paper and wrote his name and address on it.
"thanks, he'll be locked up tonight" the cop said
"thank you so much" I said and hugged him and so did zac.
he left and I went inside.
"I knew I would have you" zac said and just kept hugging me.
"DYLAN DAVE KAYLA" zac called.
they all came out of their rooms and looked sad.
"she's all ours" zac said and they all hugged me.
"that was the longest 10 hours of my life" kayla said
"mine too" I said
I went into the bathroom and lifted my shirt and my ribs on my left side were black and blue and purple and red and it hurt so bad, this isn't good.
I started crying and decided I should tell zac because I need to get this fixed, it kills.
I went into the kitchen and up to zac.
"zac I think I need to go to the hospital" I said
"I agree, you could use some stitches on you're eye kiddo" he said and grabbed his keys.
"my side" I said and pulled up my shirt and he gasped, "holy crap"
"is it really that bad?" I asked getting even more scared.
"no, you're gonna be fine" he said
we all got in the car and drove to the hospital and they took me back and zac, Dylan, dave, and kayla waited in the waited room.
"okay what's bothering you today other than that eye of yours which I'm gonna stitch" my doctor asked.
"my arm and my left side" I said
he looked at my arm, "that's defiantly broken, let's cast that, then stitch your eye then work on the other stuff, sound good?" he asked
"yeah" I said
he wrapped my arm up in a hot pink cast up to a little below my elbow, then gave me 12 stitches across my eyebrow, it was noticeable.
"okay now can I see you're side?" he asked
I pulled my shirt up and as soon as I did he just put his head down.
"I'm so sorry, but you're gonna be in pain for about 3 weeks with that side, there's really nothing I can do other than give you medicine and a brace which you have to wear to bed every night for 6 weeks" he said
"okay thank you" I said
he handed me the big brace and prescription and we left.
I sat in the back with Dylan and kayla.
"you'll start that medicine tonight ok?" zac asked
"yeah" I said
"when we get home can I get changed and go to Hayes, he doesn't know I'm home, I don't have a phone" I said
"yeah but promise me that you'll be careful and won't hurt your side more" zac asked
"promise" I said
"can I come?" kayla asked
"yeah of course" I said
we got home and I went up to my room and changed into shorts and a tshirt and I had to have kayla put my hair up and do my makeup then I put on flip flops and we left.
we walked down to Hayes and I knocked on the door and Hayes opened it and he has red puffy eyes and no shirt on and messy hair.
"gab" he said and hugged me super tight and I had to push him off me because it hurt.
"what's wrong? why can't I hug you?" he asked
"you can just not tight" I said
"what happened to your eye and your arm?" he asked
"that's why I'm home" I said
"what happened?" he asked
"mark best her till she blacked out and then she got up and ran away and found a police station. she broke her arm, got 12 stitches, and her sides really bad, be careful" kayla said and went inside with the boys.
"how bad is your side?" he asked
"it's fine" I said
"let me see" he said and I pulled my shirt up and he covered his mouth and pulled my shirt down and hugged me so gently.
"how the hell could he do something like that" Hayes said
"I'm happy he did because im home now" I said
"im more than happy that your home but in mad about how much pain you must be in." Hayes said
"Hayes I'm okay, I'm just happy to be home, that was scary" I said
"you're safe now" he said and hugged me softly.
I just hugged him back, "come on the guys missed you too" Hayes said
I walked in and they all smiled, "we knew we would get you back" Cameron said
"yo get me a sharpie I gotta sign the cast" Jack j said
"oh great" I said
I was on my phone and just held my cast out and let them sign it once they were done I looked at it.
I saw all their names really big and covering the whole thing, "this is gonna give me OCD for 3 weeks" I said
"you only have it for 3 weeks?" Hayes asked
"yup, thank god" I said
we all sat on the couches and bean bags and just talked for a little while.
it was about 11 when me and kayla decided to go home.
we said bye to everyone and walked home.
we went inside and zac was sitting in the living room talking to a guy Ina suit.
"yes, she is in a lot of pain because of injuries from mark and I'm here to make her better. I'm not gonna hurt her like he did, I could never lay a pinky on that kid, she's my rock. I'm always gonna take care of her, she's the reason I went to rehab and got better, I love Gabriella and I'm never leaving her side, she's mine again and not going anywhere" he said
"okay just sign this and all custody rights are signed back to you" she said and zac signed it and she got up and left.
zac got up and walked her to the door.
he came into the kicthen and handed me 2 pills, "take these every night" he said
I swallowed them then he handed my my brace, "now put this on and get some sleep, we're not doing anything tomorrow so we can all sleep in and relax" zac said
"alright good night" I said
"good night" he said and kissed mine and kayla heads and went upstairs.
me and kayla went up into my room and got changed into shorts and tshirt and I made her wipe my makeup off and put my hair up.
Kay helped me put my brace on and it was so uncomfortable.
"wanna take all of our blankets and pillows to the movie room and sleep in there and watch movies all night?" I asked
"yeah I'll get all the blankets and set it up and you get the ice cream and Oreos" she said
"that's a plan" I said and walked downstairs to the kitchen and got the stuff we needed and went down to the movie room.
we have a big couch kinda thing that's like a huge bed, it's hard to explain.
we laid down and kayla went to sleep right away but I couldn't fall asleep because this stupid brace is so uncomfortable.
