I woke up really early to my phone ringing.
it was Nash.
n-Nash g-gabby
G-hello?
n-hey gab, listen. skylnns in the hospital, she's really sick but they have her in surgery right now and Hayes is kinda freaking out. I think you're the only one tang can probably calm him down, is there any way you could come? Cameron will pick you up and drop you off.
G-yeah yeah of course, what happened with sky?
n-she woke me up crying because her stomach hurt and she was throwing up blood so I took her here and they said it was something with her appendix and took her into surgery, she'll be fine.
G-aw poor baby, alright tell Cameron to call me when he's here.
n-okay he just left, he'll probably be there in 5
G-alright see ya soon
I hung up and got up and changed as fast as I could into Jean shorts and a white flowy tank top.
I put my hair up and put on mascara then Cameron called me saying he was here.
I went downstairs and dave was awake.
"dave I gotta go, Hayes little sister is in the hospital and he needs me right now" I said
"alright go, let me know how everything goes. do you need a ride?" he asked
"no Cameron's here" I said and ran out the door.
I got in the car and saw that Cameron's eyes were really red and a little puffy.
"Cameron's I talked to Nash, she's gonna be fine" I said
"yeah I know she is, I was scared but now Hayes is absolutely terrified and won't listen to us trying to tell him that she is fine" cam said
"alright I'll talk to him don't worry" I said
we drove for a few more minutes then pulled into the parking lot and parked.
we got out and I saw Hayes sitting outside.
"good luck" Cameron said and patted my head and went inside.
"Hayes" I said and he looked up and I don't like see him cry, it breaks my Heart.
"Gabriella, don't. just leave go home" he said
"no Hayes" I said
"GO AWAY I DONT NEED YOU" he yelled
"stop, you do need someone right now so I'm gonna be here for you. you need to just listen for a minute" I said
"Gabrielle I said leave" he said and stood up.
"no Hayes" I said and hugged him tight and he just stood there and then started crying on my shoulder and hugged me back.
"will you look at me and listen now, for 30 seconds?" I asked
he down at me with his bright blue eyes.
"skylynn is fine, she just needed to get her appendix removed Hayes, that is a very common thing. once she is out of surgery she will be smiling again, she'll be home by tomorrow" I said
"wait all she needed was her appendix removed and she's okay?" he asked
"yes Hayes, she's fine" I said
"I'm sorry for yelling and you and trust me I do need you" he said and hugged me so gently.
"it's fine" I said
"let's go inside" he said and grabbed my hand and we went inside.
I saw my cheer coach sitting in the waiting room.
"hey Gabriella" she said
"oh hi" I said
"are you here for that unresponsable brother of yours that for whatever crazy reason has custody of you" she said
"oh you're gonna sit there and call my brother unresponsable and talk crap because he has custody of me. no he does an amazing job taking care of us, one thing happened and he's fixing his mistakes, he's taking responsibilities for them. you're a low life good for nothing piece of crap so don't go talking crap on my family to me. I'm 14 you're about 40" I said
"gabby come on" Hayes said while standing Infront of me because I was death glaring her.
"no Hayes, I don't let people talk crap on my family" I said
"I know, what she said was wrong and untrue. but come on just drop it, please" he said
"oh now someone has to control her, I knew she was no good for our team. she sucked, I should've kicked her off sooner" she said
that actually really hurt my feelings because I put my all into that team, I tried the hardest I could.
"just ignore her" Hayes said
"I will. I'm gonna go outside for one minute I'll be back" I said
I walked away, I'm being the bigger person. I went outside and sat down on a bench.
I just have to ignore her, it's over, cheer is over.
Hayes came and sat down next to me.
"what she said isn't true, I've watched you cheer, you're really good at it" Hayes said
"thanks Hayes it just kinda bothered me because like I really tried my hardest at cheer" I said
"I know" he said and hugged me.
we went back inside and Nash was talking to a doctor.
I saw a lady sprint through the front door and Hayes ran to her and hugged her.
"hey baby, what's going on now? what was the latest update?" she asked
"I don't know, she's gonna be okay though, she just needed her appendix removed" Hayes said
"okay, are you okay, I heard you were a little scared?" she said
"yeah I'm fine" he said
Nash went over to them and she hugged him.
"she's out of surgery, we can go to her room and she can go home" he said
"oh that's great" she said
they came over to us and she shook my hand, "you must be Gabriella, I'm Hayes mom, Elizabeth" she said
"it's nice to finally meet you, I've heard a lot about you" I said
"I hope all good" she said and we both just laughed.
"Cameron are you gonna give me a hug or am I a stranger now?" she said
"aw hi, I missed you" he said and gave her a hug.
"now Jack and Jack and matt and Taylor?" she asked
they all got up and hugged her, she's so cute.
we went back into skylynns room and she was up and looking at a magazine.
"oh I want this I'll name him Oreo" she said
"hey kiddo, how are you feeling?" Nash asked
"oh I feel great, but I deserve a present so can I get this horse?" she asked
"no no, we're going home from here, say bye" Elizabeth said.
she hugged all of us and they left.
we got back in the cars and Cameron dropped me off at home.
I laid down down in bed and something just didn't feel right.
I was awake staring at the wall for like an hour.
I eventually brushed it off and went to sleep.
