Hi Sophia,
I hope you're doing well since we saw each other at the premiere last week. I mentioned then to you that I wanted to talk to you about a future project I'm working on, and all the details are in the file below.
The script still isn't fully finished, but it's a project I think you could highly contribute in and would love to discuss this with you.
The project is titled "To the Children of Spanish Speakers," and I like to think of it as a love letter to people just like us— Children of immigrants, children who was immigrants themselves, the first-gen, etc. I want to touch on the fragile relationships between Latino and Hispanic parents and children. The entire project would focus on three different families, and would jump back and forth between two timelines— So you can see the parents when they were children too. I want to unite our community with this for a moment, because even though we (the children) consider ourselves so different from our parents— we are all children of Spanish-speakers.
Please let me know what you think.
Thank you,
Liliana Consuelos

"I'M SO FUCKING proud of you." Andrew whispered as he and Sophia laid in her bed together at the GT house. His arms were wrapped around her tightly, and Sophia just furthered snuggled into his embrace. "The sequel of one of the biggest movies of the year, baby! That's crazy!"
"Thank you." Sophia giggled and Andrew kissed her cheek. "I'm so excited!"
"You should be," Andrew nodded his head, running his fingers through his hair. He licked his lips, glancing down at her, "So, on Saturday, Lin offered me the chance to audition for Flynn Rider."
Immediately, Sophia sat up, her eyes wide and jaw dropped. Andrew ran a hand through his hair, sitting up as well, "If you don't want me to do it, I won't. Lin just thinks I have a chance. He says we have singing chemistry— He can see a vision after we sing Breaking Free at the party. But I won't do it if you think it'll mess up your chances because I know this part is very fucking important to you—"
Cutting him off, Sophia shook her head, pecking Andrew's lips with a kiss. Andrew gladly kissed back and Sophia smiled, "I love you, Andrew Garfield."
"I love you too." Andrew whispered, glancing down at her pink lips.
"You should audition," Sophia encouraged him, giving him a grin. "If you have a chance, you should audition! Could you imagine— The two of us as Rapunzel and Flynn Rider?"
"Dream come true." Andrew sighed in relief, kissing the top of her head. "Thank you darling."
Sophia nodded with a smile, laying back in the bed and laying her head on Andrew's chest. She fidgeted with the zipper of Andrew's quarter-zip, her eyes staring at her fingers. Andrew wrapped an arm around her, rubbing her back softly. She leaned further into him and Andrew smiled, kissing her forehead multiple times because he knew that's what she wanted.
Glancing into Andrew's brown eyes, Sophia whispered, "So Liliana Consuelos, one of the writers for The Summer I Turned Pretty, emailed me about a project."
"Nice, what's it about?" Andrew asked softly.
"It's about Latinos, Hispanics— Just children of Spanish speakers, immigrants or not," Sophia began to explain, a small grin creeping on her lips. "The script is good— It's not finished, but the story is so good. It's so real."
"It's your story." Andrew whispered and Sophia nodded with a grin.
"But it's not just my story! It's my parents' and Lola's and my grandparents and all of ours!" Sophia rambled, running a hand through her blonde hair. "We've never been represented like this— Our story hasn't been told and Lili wants to do that."
"Then how could you possibly pass up this opportunity, my love?"
