(This is just a chapter for fun and not apart of the main story)
A blanket of white covered the sky and sun as delicate snowflakes trickled to the ground below. All the land was covered in white fluffy snow as kids ran about playing.
For a period of time in God's Domain there weren't any guild wars, battles, thefts, or anything else.
Players just enjoyed their time training, grinding EXP, hanging out with friends, and trying out the special Blue Spirit Eggnog that are only available for a limited time in NPC bars.
During this time of peace and enjoyment, off in a distant neutral map where the winds raged and the sky was filled with black stormy clouds. A group of players were currently fighting an army of ten meter tall monsters with savage appearances and dirty white fur. Their teeths as sharp as knives, with hands and feet abnormally big for their body proportions.

Ordinary people will cower when having to deal with such monsters, but not these people.
While the yet army charged like a rampaging stampede, a bear of man ran forward to meet them and clash.
"Come!" Cola said excitedly. He raised his fragmented legendary shield and charged at the stampede.
Tier 4 Sure Kill Skill- Beast Tide Gates
As Cola ran to meet the army of yetis, multiple glowing gates appeared beside him. These gates glowed with a sacred light and were covered with divine runes. Each gate opened one by one and out of each of them came several fifteen meter beasts.
Each beast was made of light and shook the earth beneath them as they charged alongside with Cola.
When both sides made contact, the Yeti side was beaten down.
The Grand Lord's flew like lifeless dolls and the Archaic Grand Lord's were trampled over. Only the Mythic Yeti was unaffected by the skill but it was being man handled by Cola.
With the buff from his skill, Cola fought the Mythic monster head on. When sword and fist collided, cracks that resembled shattered glass appeared in the air and turbulent gust of winds blew away the snow.
"Good Cola, keep the Mythic's aggro for a little longer. Mage unit, clear out the way," Shi Feng ordered when he saw that his MT could handle the situation.
The mages in the back started casting. All the ambient mana gathered to one location as a four fold magic circle formed overhead. After a few seconds of casting the spell was ready.
Zhao Yueru who was the core of this spell, pointed her staff forward and let the spell loose.
"Burn to ash!"
Tier 4 Super Spell- Solar Incineration
A giant ball of golden light in the shape of a sunflower released waves of heat. In the next moment that sunflower released rays of destructive beams that shot at the enemy monsters.
Dozens of beams and lasers ravaged the monsters and destroyed their health bars repeatedly. The snow covered land turned into a barren waste land of blood and corpse due to the spell.
"Assassins and Rangers, finish off the stragglers. Melee unit with me to end the Mythic," Shi Feng said.
Fire Dance, Flying Shadow, Minor Wind, and the team's other Assassins and Rangers quickly intercepted the running Yetis and disposed of them swiftly. Shi Feng and the rest focused their barrage of attacks on the lone Yeti General.
When faced with over ten tier 4 players using their sure kill skills, the Yeti General could offer no resistance.
Even though his HP was over 20%, it was already having trouble dealing with Cola so it knew it had to flee.
The Yeti General slammed its war hammer on the ground causing an earthquake that threw everyone away from the center of origin. The beast then jumped hoping to runaway.
"You think I'll let you go!" Shi Feng wasn't about to let the beast get away.
Tier 5 Taboo Skill- Instant Flash
A streak of lightning beamed through space and caught up with the fleeing Yeti. The beast felt a dense killing intent right beside it. He turned and froze as he stared into Shi Feng's eyes as streaks of electricity surged around himself.

A Galaxy of stars tore at the beast. By the time his skill's duration was up, Shi Feng had reaped the last of Yeti General's HP. Over twenty items floated down to the floor alongside Shi Feng.
"Guild Leader, these monsters are really stingy. They didn't even drop any decent materials to craft equipment with," Blackie angrily said.
"This is to be expected since these monsters have already been killed before," Fire Dance added.
"At least they drop a bunch of magic crystals. Look there's even Ice attributed magic crystals in here," Yan Tianxing commented as they inspected the loot.
Shi Feng inspected the drops from the Yeti General. He picked up an Epic Bracers for Shield Warriors that could be used up to level 160. He also saw a few pieces of inferior legendary ice type material and magic crystals. "Finally just one more to go," he said happily when he saw a particular item.
Frost Ruby- Epic material
Can be used to reinforce weapons and equipment with the Power of Frost. Has an added effect of healing small physical injuries.
"Don't worry, we only need to kill a few more Mythic monsters and we'll be done with this," Shi Feng said. Normally he wouldn't waste his time grinding monsters in an already used map but he was here for a quest.
During big holidays, the game developers would add special quests all around the game and the completion of these quests will lead to random rewards. These rewards could be anywhere from special tokens one can redeem at stores for exclusive items, to powerful tools that could be fragmented legendary ranked.
In his past life World Dominators had completed one such quest and managed to create a tier 6 player eventually turning the guild into a Super First Rate Guild then a Super Guild.
While he was at Black Wing City's auction house, he never expected to meet with Sharlyn who would give him one such quest.
All he had to do was collect twenty pieces of Frost Ruby's which is an insanely rare epic material. At the very least only high ranking mystic bosses drop them. Luckily he knew how to farm the item.
He and his team had been here farming monsters for hours in search of the item. Now he only needed one more to go.
The group went to go find more monsters to kill after resting. They managed to find and kill nearly ten high ranking Mythic monsters and hundreds of Grand Lords.
They collected over a hundred Fine Gold equipment and weapons, over two dozen Dark Gold equipment and weapon pieces, and four epic items. This haul already made the expedition worth it. But they never found the last Frost Ruby they were looking for.
While Shi Feng was about to give up hope a huge roar could be heard through the snow covered valley. The roar was filled with so much power that even Fire Dance and the others felt a bit of mental suppression.
A tornado of ice and snow slowly moved towards them and in that tornado a twenty meter tall beast with glowing red eyes made its menacing silhouette be known.

"Oh no! The monster is evolving, do we fight it Guild Leader?"

"Guild Leader?"
No one heard a response from Shi Feng, then suddenly a giant bone gate blocked the sky and out of it came a terrifying demon.
The others guessed that Shi Feng had summoned the demon but they didn't know where he was.
"Look, the Guild Leader is already fighting the monster!" Minor Wind said in surprise.
Shi Feng had already rushed into the distance facing the Yeti Prince. He had almost lost hope of completing this quest and but now this high ranking monster is offering itself for the greater good. How can he not take advantage of this situation?
He activated Blade Domain and Element Requiem. Alongside the tier 5 Demon, the Frost Storm Yeti Prince stood no chance. It's HP drained like flowing water.
After its death it dropped a bunch of Dark Gold items and a few Epic equipment pieces. Shi Feng also got the last Frost Ruby he needed.
With that over with, everyone went to go do other things. Shi Feng went to the Candlelight Trading Firm and used the Philosopher's Stone to clone ten more Frost Ruby's.
He then headed to the library to meet up with Sharlyn.
"Oh my, that was very fast! You certainly are capable," Sharlyn said teasingly.
"It wasn't easy to collect all twenty but here you go."
Shi Feng handed her all the rubies he got. "This should be just enough!" Sharlyn said excitedly.
She then started to trace magic circles in the air and activate a four fold magic array. All the Frost RubIes floated to the air and disintegrated. When she was done little red snowflakes filled the room.
The red snowflakes were very comfortable and soothing. Shi Feng then got a notification telling him he completed the quest.
"That's it?" He asked.
"Yes. I felt a bit of stiffness in my neck for a while so I needed these to help that. Thank you for the lovely present." Sharlyn told him while giggling.
Shi Feng was appalled! She had made him waste his time for a method to loosen her stiff neck. What about the special quest reward that can help nurture a tier 6 expert.
"Why are you looking at me like that. You also got something out of this didn't you. Don't be so ungrateful."
"I did?" Shi Feng closed his eyes and focused on his body. He noticed that his concentration attribute increased slightly. But this increase was practically meaningless for him. If it was anybody else the improvement would have been a qualitative one.
"Why do you still look so down. What do you also want a kiss from Big Sister here?" Sharlyn continued to tease him.
Shi Feng flinched. He knew the price he had to pay for favors like that from Sharlyn. "Forget it. At least I got you a decent gift."
Today was the day he learned never to accept holiday quest from Sharlyn.
