No One's POV
Napansin ni Jungkook na mahimbing ng natutulog si Yoo Ri sa tabi niya. Dahan dahan niyang iniangat ang ulo ni Yoo Ri at binuhat para ipahiga sa upuan. He put her head on his lap. Sinigurado niyang komportable ang tulog ng dalaga. Kahit yun man lang, mabigay niya rito.
"Please hold on Yoo Ri. Maaayos rin lahat. Your brother will be okay." Jungkook whispered kahit hindi siya naririnig ng dalaga.
Inabot ng binata ang buhok ni Yoo Ri na tumakip sa mukha nito. He put it behind her ears. A moment later, he found himself staring at her.
He thought, she's really beautiful. There's a reason why she's called the campus queen.
He was just awake there, watching her sleep. "I bet you've been tired these days." He whispered.
"I'm sorry if this is just all I could do." And after sometime, nakatulog na rin si Jungkook habang binabantayan ang dalagang mahimbing na natutulog.
Days had gone so fast. Jungkook and all the guys are all busy dahil next week na ang comeback nila.
He can't always be there for Yoo Ri dahil sa sobrang hectic ng schedule nila, but he's always calling her to make sure everything is fine.
[Flashback]
"I'm really afraid.." Yoo Ri admitted to herself and to Jungkook.
"I know." Jungkook replied. "But be strong okay? Your brother will survive."
"But I'm more worried about mom and dad. Pano pa kaya yung nararamdaman nila, for sure it's triple times more than how I feel."
"I can see they're being strong for both of you and your brother. Kaya wag ka rin sumuko. You will all pass through this."
"Thank you.." Sabi ni Yoo Ri at binigyan ng isang matamis na ngiti ang binata. Napakagaan ng pakiramdam niya dahil alam niyang hindi siya nag iisa sa oras na ito. She knows that she can lean on a friend like Jungkook. And she's very thankful for that.
"I'm really really thankful to you. Kahit sobrang busy mo, you still check if I'm alright."
"I told you I'll be here." He said and smiled.
[Present]
"Yoo Ri?" Jungkook spoke on the phone. "How's the operation of your brother?"
"It's still on going. Sabi nung nurse na dumaan it will take hours pa. So far sabi nila okay naman daw, but.. Hindi pa rin ako mapakali eh."
"I'll pray for you and your brother." He replied. "I'll be there after nitong shooting namin."
"It's okay. No need to." Sabi ni Yoo Ri sa kabilang linya. "Magpahinga ka nalang. It's been a tiring day for you."
"There you go again." Sagot naman ni Jungkook at napailing sa kabilang linya. "Sige I'll talk to you later. Take care."
"Sige, good luck sa shooting." She said and ended the call. Lately, she's too tired. But there are people who believes in her. And for Yoo Ri it's enough to hang on.
"Si Jungkook ba yun?" Tanong ng ina ni Yoo Ri nang makabalik siya sa upuan. Hinihintay nilang lahat na matapos ang operasyon ng kapatid.
"Yes mom." Sabi nito at ngumiti ng kaunti, Later then she put her head on her mom's shoulder.
"He's really a good guy." Her mother said.
"I know. He's too good to be true." She whispered to her mom.
"I want you to find someone like him." Payo niya sa anak.
"I do love him though." Sabi nito sa ina. "It's just that, we're not meant together in this lifetime."
