Jinny's POV
Suga, true to his words, make it up to me.
"Hey, come closer." Sabi niya sabay pat ng space sa tabi niya. We're watching the second movie at he made me choose this time. I've settled for "The Fault in Our Stars".
"Are you sure?" I asked him.
"Just come here." Kaya ayun umusod ako papalapit sa kanya. "Give me your hand."
"Huh? Why?" I asked confused.
He never answered my question and just grabbed my hand. He interlocked our fingers. "I hope I'm doing it right." He whispered.
Napangiti nalang ako sa ginawa niya. "You're giving me goosebumps." I said to him and chuckled.
"And so do you. I never held you like this."
"Hey! You did." I countered.
"And when? Don't make me an old man. I remember perfectly fine!" Reklamo niya sa akin.
"Well, it's just some practice. So maybe di mo nga maalala."
"Really? Ang galing naman ng memory mo. But I'm still a genius." He said feeling proud of himself.
"All those little things count you know." Sabi ko sabay chuckle. "It's really strange how you hold my hand."
He didn't reply that fast but I can feel him look at me. While here I am, looking at our entwined hands.
"And why?"
I shrugged. "Basta."
"Tss." Sabi nalang niya tapos kumuha ulit ng popcorn.
I was sniffling habang nanonood. Hindi ko kinakaya yung palabas. Hindi ko na napigilang umiyak.
Suga heard me crying kaya napatingin siya sa tabi ko. "Are you seriously crying?" Sabi niya pero tinatawanan nalang ako.
"Eh kasi si Agustus! Bakit ba kasi ganyan, it's too heartbreaking." Sabi ko at naiyak na nga ako.
"Aigoo." He said while he squeezed my hand.
"Tss. Kumain ka na ngalang."
I was surprised when he placed some of popcorn infront of my mouth. I looked at him first, tapos kinain ko rin yung sinubo niya. "nbdsdfhgfsd.."
He chuckled at me. "What? Ubusin mo muna kasi hahaha."
"Sabi ko that was sweet pero nakakaiyak talaga eh.." Sabi ko sabay punas ng mukha ko.. "And you know.. it's your first time to laugh with me."
"Tss. Better now?" He asked me.
"A lot. Thank you for this."
"We're not yet even done." He said and chuckled. He might just doing all of these as an act but, I'll really cherish every second with him. These stolen moments, will be my happiest memories.
And I'll just enjoy this short time we both have and I'll leave regret for later.
