Jinny's POV
[Fast Forward]
Sobrang packed ng schedule ko for the next month, and this remaining month is scheduled for practices and recordings. Madalang nalang akong nandito by that time kasi nasa overseas ako for worldwide concerts. And I think it will last for a minimum of five months, as my manager calculated.
I was now at the recording studio at kakatapos lang magrecord ng isang kanta which will be added to the album na ilalabas ko.
"Good work everyone." Sabi ni Manager sa lahat.
"Thank you po." Sabi ko naman sa ibang staffs as I give out a smile.
As I was talking to them nag ring yung phone ko. And I saw Suga's name on the screen. Napangiti ako bigla. Sinong mag aakalang darating yung time na tatawagan niya ako?
Ang bilis ng panahon.
"Yah!" He started talking.
"Waeyo?" I asked him while smiling to no one.
"You're up for the last date?" He suddenly asked.
"..Last?" I whispered at naalala ko nga pala. Pang huli na to.
Bakit ang bilis naman?
"Yeah, five dates right?" He sound nonchalantly over the phone.
Does he want to get rid of me that fast? Napangiti nalang ako ng mapait. Kakatapos lang nung date namin nung isang araw eh. Is he that excited to end everything?
"..Oh.." I whispered. "Sige.. wala naman na akong gagawin."
"Good. See you at the lobby in five." Sabi nito at ibinaba na ang telepono.
Napabuntong hininga nalang ako ng malalim. "Manager, I'll get going may lakad pa ako eh." Pagpapaalam ko sa mga kasama ko.
"Okay, take care Jinny." They said in unison.
Kinuha ko na ang mga gamit ko at agad na dumiretso na sa lobby ng building. Nauna pa ako sa kanya. Suddenly, I was lost in thoughts. There's never a time na hindi ako nauna sa mga date at usapan namin. Lagi akong maaga. Am I that so passionate about what I feel for him?
Maya maya narinig kong may tumawag sa akin. "Yah, Jinny!" Boses palang niya kilalang kilala ko na.
I put up a smile as turned around to face him. There's his face, lighted up as usual. Buti nalang hindi na siya ganun ka cold sa akin like before. It's just a shame na matatapos na lahat after ng date na ito.
"Hey." I said and waved to him. "So san mo gustong pumunta?" I asked him.
"Hmm.. I want somewhere quiet. Tara na." Suga said at nauna ng naglakad.
Napabagsak nalang ang mga balikat ko. Ang specific niyang tao diba? Aish. "Teka antayin mo ko!"
We drove infront of the mall. "Wow. Ang tahimik dito sobra." I sarcastically said.
"Who said dito? Psh. We'll buy something to eat first."
"San mo ba balak pumunta?" I curiously asked at him habang hinahabol ang paglalakad niya.
"Picnic."
"..Well, that's not a bad idea. Sige tara na." Sabi ko sabay guyod sa kanya. Pareho kaming nakasuot ng mask ngayon. Mahirap ng maissue eh.
"Yah, wag kang magmadali." Sita nito sa akin.
Dumiretso na ako sa supermarket habang guyod guyod ko ang kamay niya. I bit my lip ng mapansing hindi niya inalis ang kamay ko sa pagkakahawak ko sa kanya.
We got a basket at kumuha na ako ng mga chips. "Yah, I like that one." Sabi niya saya turo dun sa isang pagkain.
"Marshmallows. Really?" Sabi ko at natawa pero kumuha pa rin ako ng isang pack.
"Yeah, what's wrong with having a sweet tooth? Psh." Pagsusungit niya.
"Wala naman, you look like a kid lang haha."
"Don't look at my height! It does not define what a man am I!" Depensa niya agad kaya mas natatawa ako.
"What's up with blabbering about your height? Hahaha. So defensive?"
"Of course not!" He answered.
"You're small so what right?" I said and teased him further.
"Yah! I'm not small, you're spitting nonsense woman." Sabi niya at tinuro ako as he glare at me.
"Pffft." Sabi ko at pinipigilang matawa. "Ang high blood mo."
"Whatever." Sabi nito at umalis na.
"Yaa! San ka pupunta?" Napailing nalang ako, parang bata talaga to.
Kumuha rin kami ng drinks at bread pati na rin some fruits. "Mauubos ba natin to?" Tanong ko sa katabi ko habang nakapila kami sa counter.
"Oo naman. Bakit di mo kaya?" He plainly asked.
"Kapag si Heara yung nandito, ubos agad yan. Baka kulangin pa nga eh." He said and I heard some chuckle from him afterwards.
Si Heara na naman ang kinukuwento niya. He really likes her, doesn't he?
Napangiti nalang ako ng hindi ko inaasahan. A sad one.
This is the last one.
After this, I can't see him anymore. I promised him na lalayuan ko na siya. And I shouldn't be breaking that promise. Maybe he really won't like me like I like him. But I'm happy na kahit paano, I've got to spend time with him, even for a short period of time.
"Are you okay?" He suddenly asked, his face worried.
"Mmmm.. Uy dali na turn na natin." Sabi ko dahil susunod na kami sa pila. Nag hum lang ako as response to him. There's no way I can't enjoy my last day with him.
Dumiretso kami agad sa picnic area. Maganda ang view rito, sobrang lawak ng green grass and at the same time the blue sky welcomes us with a happy smile.
