Five dates is all I've got.
This is all or nothing. I need to plan all of these thoroughly.
Where can I bring him?
Mall?
Nah, too cliche.
Restaurant?
Nah, he's not a heavy eater.
Carnival?
He hates crowded places though.
Ughhh Min Yoongi where the hell do you want to date?
Let's see. Suga wants a quiet place. Movie date nalang kaya sa bahay? Yah. That's a nice idea. Iwas pa sa public.
Sige let's try a movie date at home.

To Suga: Hey, bring any movie discs you want. Ikaw na bahala :)
From Suga: Okay.
Napabuntong hininga nalang ako. He's really kind of cold isn't he?
[Jinny's House]
I was waiting for Suga. He's already thirty minutes late. Sana naman hindi ako inindiyan nung lalaking yun. I've even prepared everything. From foods at lahat ng gagamitin. Pati yung sofa inayos ko na.
I was busy thinking of any arrangements pa na pwedeng gawin nang tumunog yung doorbell.
"I thought you won't come anymore." Sabi ko sabay salubong kay Suga ng may ngiti.
"Psh. I'm a one word man." Sabi niya tapos seryoso pa rin. "Here." Sabi niya sabay bigay sakin nung hawak niyang plastic.
"What's this?" Sabi ko habang excited.
"For dessert. Mango Float."
"Yah! It's my favorite!" Sabi ko sabay ngiti ng malapad sa kanya.
He just shrugged. "Coincidence. Don't get your hopes high."
"Pero at least!" Sabi ko sabay ngiti ng malapad.
[Fastforward]
We're in the middle of the first movie but di pa rin ako kinakausap nitong katabi ko. The first movie is a sci-fi movie. Actually, I prefer romance or comedy. Pero Suga is enjoying the movie right now.
Paubos na rin yung popcorn. Ang sarap eh. Hahaha.
I'm lame amn't I?
I was about to grab some more at the bowl nang magtama yung kamay namin.
Damn. I felt something. Para akong kinuryente.
"Oh.. uhmm sige una ka na."He looked at me for some seconds then kumuha na siya.
How did we end up like this? Shoot, sobrang awkward.
"Uhm, ubusin mo na yan. Lalagyan ko ulit sa kusina." Sabi ko ng nag aalinlangan.
He nodded and then he empties the bowl na kanina ay puno ng popcorn. After that kinuha ko na yung lalagyan at dumiretso agad sa kusina. I sighed heavily. "Wow, ang awkward." I said to myself.
"It's your fault in the first place." Biglang singit ng isang boses sa likod ko.
"Oh shit!" Sigaw ko sa sobrang gulat. "You scared the hell out of me." Reklamo ko sa kanya.
"Why choose a movie date sa bahay kung awkward naman pala?" Hindi niya pinakinggan yung sinabi ko.
"I thought you wanted.. somewhere quiet.." I answered him softly.
"Or you're too desperate to have me all by yourself." Suga stated na parang hindi nakakasakit yung sinabi niya.
I can't help but be hurt by his words.
"You know I'm not like that Suga." I answered him on point. I'm trying to look cool infront of him na parang hindi tumalab sa akin yung sinabi niya. But fuck. It's hard.
"Really? So what are you doing for the last five years?" He asked me as he raised his eyebrow, questioning me. "And this five dates? You offered it para makuha ako diba?"
"I'm patiently waiting for you too look at me Suga. All these time, naghihintay ako na pansinin mo ko but I never pushed you to the brink para lang makita mo ako. I never made any desperate move, eto lang ang una. Just this one. All I'm asking you is just 5 fucking dates and you agreed. YOU. GODDAMN. AGREED!" Sabi ko sa kanya letting all my frustrations out.
Suga's features softens as I poured out my frustrations at him. "Fine. I'm sorry.." Suga said and looked away.
"And I know." I said avoiding my voice to crack. "You can't even fucking like me for just five dates. Ano bang magagawa nun compared to the years na nag aantay ako sayo? Nothing. Wala, walang wala.." Sabi ko sa kanya. "But please, let us make our five dates something worthy to remember. It would be just the only memory I'll have with you. And at the end of whatever this is, yun lang ang panghahawakan ko.." I blurted out biting my lower lip to keep me from sobbing.
I waited for him to talk. But he first replied with a sigh. "I'm sorry Jinny... That's really mean of me. I'm really sorry. Maybe I was just stressing out with this. I'm sorry for throwing it all at you."
I just half smiled. "Okay lang." I said and fake a smile. "And sana, you didn't agreed kung ayaw mo naman pala."
He sighed once again. "I just.."
"I know. You just agreed to finally get rid of me." I said and fake my smiles some more. "But that's okay."
"I'm sorry." He sincerely said.
"Alam mo ang pinagtataka ko lang?" Pag iiba ko ng usapan, so Suga looked my way uncertainly.
"Hindi ka naman ganito eh. You are this man with an angelic laugh. You are funny and laughing all the time pero bakit pagdating sa akin, you become a cold one?"
"I'm sorry, pero kahit ako hindi ko alam. Maybe I really don't like the attention you are giving me? I can't pinpoint the real reason why."
"Nevermind." Sabi ko at umiling. "So, ano are you out of the deal? If you're uncomfortable with it, just tell me anytime."
Umiling siya. "Let me make it up to you." Suga said and showed me a small smile. "I feel really bad for making you feel this way. I'm sorry."
I should be mad at him for making me feel like this. But this damned heart of mine? Kinikilig pa. Aish!
