It had been a week since last Friday, it was almost the end of January. Her weekly breakfasts with Hank had turned into dinners, it felt like he trusted her again. Harper still hadn't had the nerve to go to Molly's or any bar for that matter. She still had to swallow the lump in her throat at the mention of Lily but tears no longer gathered in her eyes. She had accepted that she would always blame a part of herself for Lily's death but she was trying because deep down she knew that Lily wouldn't have wanted this. She was trying for Lily. She was trying for Jay.

Right now, they were working their asses off trying to solve a drug case and they had come up with no leads. "Our only other option is to send in an undercover," Voight said, walking over to the board. "I heard he runs at this club, he owns it, sometimes he works as a bartender as a cover," Ruzek said, pointing to a white male who was a suspect for selling lethal drugs on the street.

"A sex club" Antonio said, rolling his eyes. "I wonder what it's like," Ruzek said while Kim slapped him upside the head. "Well, that's our only choice" Voight said roughly, shaking his head. "We need to get a deal, find his supplier, this stuff is supposed to be laced with fentanyl" Voight explained.

"Volunteers?" Voight asked, trying to think about who he was going to send. All the men raised their hands while Harper and Kim rolled their eyes. "It needs to be a couple, Sky and Halstead" Voight said, while Harper sighed. Voight didn't know the ropes of their relationship and he was very protective of Harper but he did know if he wanted to come across as convincing, they had the perfect chemistry and dynamics.

Voight would even go as far to claim that they were even more convincing than Halstead and Lindsay even when they were dating. "Oh yeah, this is Detective Thompson from narcotics, he'll be working the case with us because apparently the suspect has been on their radar for a long time" Voight said, shooting daggers at the male detective.

Harper was nervous, this was the first time she was going to a club after the whole Lily ordeal. To make matters worse, to keep her cover, she would have to drink. She hadn't been sober for almost two months, she hated that she couldn't trust herself to make the right choices when it came to alcohol.

She walked into the breakroom, trying to get a grip on herself with Jay following her. "Sex club, huh?" Jay said, smirking. "Yeah, I'm sure you're very excited, you haven't gotten laid in months" Harper joked while Jay rolled his eyes. There was only one person he wanted to get laid by.

"Look, whatever we need to do to come across as convincing, I'm down" he said enthusiastically, while Harper smacked his arm. "So noble" she said, rolling her eyes and giving him the finger but she couldn't help but blush at his words. She knew he probably meant nothing by it but she couldn't help but let her heart flutter.

She walked to the locker room shaking her head, "I have to get ready, you probably should too" she said opening the door. As she stepped out of the shower, she was met with a shirtless Jay in jeans looking for something, she turned around trying to avert her eyes from his abs. When he turned around his eyes widened at the sight of her in a towel, he gulped trying to recover, kicking himself for thinking like that. Chill the hell out if she knew what you thought she would never stop running he scolded himself.

"Harper," he said, clearing his throat. "Jay" she said, she was used to seeing him shirtless but that didn't stop her from thinking very explicit thoughts every time. "Have you seen my jacket?" he asked, referring to the black hoodie he practically lived in, he thought he had left it in the locker room and he planned on taking it home. "It's in the wash at the apartment," she said, moving behind a row of lockers to hide herself while she changed into her dress while Jay buttoned his shirt, walking out to get the rest of his suit.

Harper didn't care about dresses because when she was a kid she had never owned a single one but she had to admit, she would probably be stealing this one from the undercover wardrobe. She quickly pulled it on, checking to see if Jay was in the locker room. As he walked in, she turned around, "Jay, can you please zip this up?" she asked.

"Yeah, sure," he said, walking over to her as she took the hair from her shoulders. His eyes widened when he noticed she wasn't wearing a bra, as he grabbed the zipper, Harper had to suppress a gasp at the feeling of his hands on her bare skin. He didn't have time to see how she looked in the dress because Mouse had promptly called him in to put on a wire. Harper quickly did her hair and makeup before walking out.

When she walked out, she met Jay, standing in the whole and he practically had to take his jaw off the ground. If a starry night sky could be a dress, that would be the dress she was wearing. The dress was dark, covered in gold sparkles that looked like stars. But the shine in her eyes put them to shame. His breath hitched in his throat when he noticed the way the dress brought out the gold flecks in her eyes. She looked beautiful.

Not noticing the way Jay's eyes gave her a once over and how they lingered on the bare skin of her legs and chest, she asked, "Are you ready?", looking up at him. She knew that he looked great in a suit but she couldn't help but stare in awe at the way it brought out his beautiful blue eyes that she wished she could drown herself in for ages. "Uh, yeah" he said, turning around while Harper got wired up. She didn't feel like herself. She felt self conscious in the dress and she was scared to step inside the club, to go back to the drinking and drugs scene.

She knew that she had Jay by her side and that he was great backup but that didn't stop her nerves from being at their absolute height. Before they left, Voight stepped in front of them, "We're turning off your wires, they're just for show because of Detective Thompson, this is supposed to be off the book but we'll have eyes from every corner of the club who will be wearing wires, do whatever you need to do to get the bad dope of the street, this is killing kids, it's serious," Voight explained, before going to meet with the commander.
