You can see from the picture [image not available], but the Smeraldo flower has a warm mood to it. Its romantic petal shapes and its mysterious and profound colour, don't you get the feeling that it has some kind of sad story behind it?

That is correct. The Smeraldo is a flower with a heart-breaking and ardent story. You can come to know this story in the meaning of the Smeraldo too, "non potevo dire la verrita", which in Italian, means "the truth untold". From looking at the meaning of the flower, you can get the sense that it is about love, and that love is a sad love, right?

Going forward, through this blog, I will slowly untangle and reveal the story tied up with this flower and playing cards.

[The Second Story]

I Introduce to You,
'Flower Smeraldo'.

Many believe that flowers are props used for special days. I too, had the same thought before I began the process of becoming a florist. But in a class that I once took in the United States, there was something that the professor told me. "You don't need a flower for a special day, rather, because the flower exists, that day becomes special."

This one phrase became the fuel for my determination to bring the Smeraldo Flower into the country. 'Although it may not be a well-known flower, I hope people can feel happiness from holding even just one Smeraldo flower.'

With this hopeful thought, I came to open 'Flower Smeraldo' this coming August.

I have chosen the colour of Flower Smeraldo's interior to be white, in order to emphasize the beauty of the Smeraldo and to keep the overall tone minimal. And I'm hoping that if I arrange some Smeraldo flowers on the window sills according to the mood of that day, I will be able to gift the people passing by with a momentary happiness
(I'm simple, right.....?)

The shop is still under preparation to open, but I may be able to proceed with a delivery service for certain areas for those who require this service.

Only, please be weary that quantities may be limited. The Smeraldo can play the part of a wide range of moods, so it is very important that I am informed of what kind of mood or tone should match for each case of the recipient.

The Smeraldo may not be available immediately and may take an average of 1 week to supply, so if you require an arrangement with other flowers that must be imported or found, please reserve at least 2 weeks before.
(Of course, I will look for the best materials and greens as soon as possible in order to best accommodate your schedule.)

Day after day, the hot and humid weather seems to continue. Because the Smeraldo is a flower grown on a farm in Northern Italy where there are severe fluctuations and it is brought from there to Korea, in order to prevent the flowers from wilting, we give it water treatments without affecting its design. We must do this in order to preserve the Smeraldo's beauty and freshness for as long as possible.
