Two weeks ago today, we decided to throw Jungkook a party to celebrate him being discharge from the hospital. We said, "Let's throw him a party when he comes out of the hospital." And we completely forgot about it.

With so many things that had happened since then, I had gone everywhere in Songju City with Namjoon hyung, looking for that building, including the classroom. On top of everything, the redevelopment plan had turned the whole city upside down. I didn't know how time passed by so fast, and I had only remembered Jungkook's last day in the hospital the day before.

We had just left the classroom, and while talking about how to ask Seokjin hyung about his abeoji, someone said we should ask him at Jungkook's welcome back party.

"Will Seokjin hyung show up?"

"We have to make him."

"How?"

"I don't know."

We all realized it only then --- Jungkook would be coming home from the hospital tomorrow. We looked at each other surprised. The truth was that none of us paid much attention to Jungkook. We had been preoccupied because of Seokjin hyung, but that did not change the fact that we had been forgetful of Jungkook.

"Should I give him a call?"

When I said that, Namjoon hyung said no. "It's past midnight. Let's throw him an awesome party. Hoseok-ah, you take care of the food as always. Taehyung-ah, how about bringing a party hats and stuff? Jimin---."

And Jimin said, "I'll get him a present. He'll like a sketch book."

"How about you, hyung?"

When Namjoon hyung asked, Yoongi hyung's face broke into a smile as he said, "My presence at the party will be a present. Namjoon-ah, what are you going to do?"

"I'm providing the place for the party."

(A/N: The exact date here is the end of the day of Jul 23. Then the next narration is Jul 24, night time again.)

We said to meet for the welcome back party at 7 in the evening the next day. I hung about the gas station, waiting for Namjoon hyung to get off work.

"We have to hurry. They let me out so late, we're not going to make it," said Namjoon hyung. He bowed a goodbye to his boss and walked towards me.

I stood up. "We'll get there after 7." We walked side by side toward his container.

"Do you think Seokjin hyung will come?"

Namjoon hyung answered, "I'm not sure, but I think he'll probably come. I texted him."

"What did you say in the text?"

"We should talk about the map of the soul."

I darted up the stairs, taking three and four at a time. Liquor bottles were rolling around here and there, and cups and plates were scattered across the floor. Abeoji had fallen to the ground in one corner with his head bowed.

My noona said it was not what I thought even before I opened my mouth. "Appa's voice was a bit loud, and someone must've called the police, thinking he was beating us." Then, the police officers came into view.
