I had pulled Mia's crib into my room for the night because I didn't like the idea of her being alone when Colby wasn't here.

We were sleeping peacefully until there was a loud sound coming from downstairs, it sounded almost like a door slamming,

"No...not again." I whispered and reached for my phone. I went to call Kat but she was already calling me, "hey...did you hear that?" She whispered shakily. "I did. Stay in your room and call the others." I said quietly, "okay. What are you going to do?" She asked as I bit my lip, "I'm gonna call Colby, I don't hear any other noises so maybe it was just the wind closing a door, but it's gonna be okay, just lock your door and tell the others to also." I said, trying to be strong.

I was horrified to think of another person breaking in when the guys weren't here, but I also didn't think it was possible, so I was trying to just stay as calm as possible while I called Colby.

"Hey...everything alright?" Colby's voice sounded through the phone, "I'm not sure...we all heard something downstairs. It sounded like a door slamming." I said and looked over at Mia, who was still sleeping soundly. "Okay..shit. Do you have Mia with you?" He asked then mumbled something to the guys, "yeah, I don't hear anything else. I told the girls to stay calm and lock themselves in their rooms." I got up slowly as I talked and went to the door to lock it. "Okay, we are calling Aryia, I know he's probably awake, they are gonna come check things out since they are closer right now, we are going to leave now too." He said and I shook my head, "no it's okay! Stay there, we are okay. Just tell Aryia to hurry..I don't want to repeat the past." I said as my hands finally started to shake. Shit.

"It's okay baby, we would have been notified by the alarm system if someone broke in. It's alright just breathe." He soothed as I kept my eyes on Mia. "Okay..pl-" I started but was interrupted by more noises coming from downstairs. "Oh my god." I whispered and stood up to grab Mia, I picked her up and looked around for a pacifier. "What happened? Are you okay?" Colby asked, "More noises." I whispered and found the pacifier I was looking for and shoved it in Mia's mouth before going to the closet. "They're on their way...stay calm baby." He said quietly as I sat on the floor. "Stay on the phone with me." I wimpered, grabbing my chest, "I'm not going anywhere." He said and I nodded.

About 15 minutes passed and there was no new noises, until I heard knocking on my door, "shit..oh god Colby someone's at my door." I said and clapped my hand over my mouth as Mia slept in my arms, "it's okay baby, breathe, it's probably just Aryia.." he said when I heard Kevin's voice, "Cora!? It's Kevin, unlock the door." He said and I got up quickly, "it was Kevin...thank god," I said and unlocked the door, I heard Colby breathe out a sigh of relief.

Kevin pulled me into him, "you okay?" He asked and I nodded, "yeah I'm okay. Colby?" I asked and he hummed, "I'm gonna go check out the house with Kevin, are you guys still filming?" I asked,
"Yeah, are you sure you don't want us to come home?" He asked as I pulled the pacifier out of Mia's mouth, "I'm sure, we are gonna go check it out. I'll call you back in a little bit okay?" I asked and bit my lip, "Okay, I love you." He said and I smiled, "love you too."

As we walked through the house, Kevin, Aryia, and Reggie would check every room, every closet, and every corner. Nobody was here.

"Oh what the fuck." Kevin said when we walked into the kitchen, all the cabinets and drawers were open sending a shiver down my spine. "Fuck this shit. Y'all are on your own." Kevin said and tried to leave the room but Aryia stopped him, "see this is why white people die in the movies." He said as Kat pulled her phone out, "dude I'm Persian.." Aryia said and Tara laughed, "so am I." She said and I just shrugged, "guess I'm gonna die." I said and cuddled Mia closer to me.

"Are you fucking kidding me Sam?!" Kat yelled angrily causing us to all look over, "he did a ritual last night." She said to us and we all groaned, "Sam! You haunted the fucking house!" She said into the phone as Mia started crying.

"Shhh it's okay little one, go back to sleep." I whispered and rocked her, "see. Notice how Sam is white. Case closed y'all gonna die." Kevin said and I rolled my eyes as Mia grabbed at my hair. "Shut up Kevin, you're still here with the ghost so you'll die too." Tara said and crossed her arms over her chest as Kat continued to scold Sam for letting a ghost haunt our house.

"Do you want us to sleep here for the rest of the night?" Aryia asked as I went to start closing the cabinets, "I mean there's not much you can do about a ghost so.." I said and Aryia put his hand on my arm, "I know but there is something I can do for your peace of mind." He said and I bit my lip. Why was everyone so nice and supportive towards me? "Oh..um then yeah...that would be really nice." I said and continued to close the cabinets. There was an eerie feeling in the house that made my stomach churn.

I felt my phone ring in my pocket, causing me to pull it out, "hey Colby," I said quietly and turned to sit at the table, "you guys are okay? Kat is yelling at Sam right now." He said with a chuckle, "when you guys get back I expect a whole ass exorcism, with priests and shit. No way in HELL im being haunted by the ghosts of my past AND an actual ghost." I said and Colby chuckled, "you got it babe." He said and I shook my head, "can you do me a favor?" I asked, "what is it?" He asked and I looked at Kat and smirked, "can you punch Sam for me? I was sleeping really well before the ghost decided to fuck us up." He laughed, "on it." He said and then I heard Sam yell, "GOD DANG IT. What was that for??" He asked as the other guys laughed, "that was for waking the girls up. And for haunting our house." Colby said, "he deserves it!" Kat yelled as we all laughed.

We all eventually went to bed, Aryia and Kevin stayed with us so that I wouldn't have a mental break  down and Reggie went home to be with Cassie. I was just so lucky that they would come here to make sure nobody was in the house, it really showed me how great of friends they were.

Mia slept like a rock but I couldn't get myself to sleep after the commotion.

I knew it was just a freak instance, but what if something did actually happen? What if someone got in again, how would I survive it again?

I don't think I would have.
