"Okay guys THIS is how hair should look." Gabe stepped aside as to present me.  Victor and  Kota were talking about something or other.  Nathan was looking through his phone, mumbling something to himself. Marc was reclined in his seat, eyes closed.

They all turned at us. Kota and Victor stopped talking Victors mouth popped open and Kota sat there shocked. Nathan dropped his phone. Marc opened one of his eyes and then the other before flashing a smile.

"Wow that looks really good," Victor said. "Did you change the color?" Gabe shook his head.

"Nah, I just washed it, the rest of it is just her," Gabe gestured at me. "Just wait till I get my scissors involved!"

"Um," I brushed some hair from my face. "I think my parents will notice." Gabe made an annoyed face.

      "Oh yeah them."

"Don't worry Sang," Kota said. "Will find away to get through your parents." I shook my head.

"Kota I- I appreciate it, but with my parents..." I swallowed a lump again. "You won't get through them, ever."

"So your parents won't get used to us? What if I ask Jessica to go over?" I stared at him, if only he knew.

"Boy, girl, it doesn't matter," I blink away tears. "Please don't come over."  I thought about the vinegar, and then the threat of the bleach.

"Hey hey hey," Kota came over to me. "It's okay Sang, we, we won't come over."

"I'm sorry," I whispered. Gabe placed a hand on my shoulder.

"Sang don't apologize, its not your fault your parents are assholes." Kota shot Gabe a look.

"Gabe!" He barked, I felt myself smile a teeny bit.

"He's not wrong." Marc said, Nathan nodded.

"For once," Nathan stated, "Gabes right."

"Hey!" Gabe said. I giggle at the boys.

"Well," Victor spoke up. " How are we gonna be able to communicate with you Sang?" I stop giggling and placed a finger to my lips.

     "I'm not sure. I don't own a phone."

"Okay, I'll get you one." Victor announced, getting up to his feet.

"Wh-what? A phone?" Kota nodded at this.

"That's a good idea Victor. That way we can communicate with Sang."

"You can't buy me phone!" I protest.

"Why? It's just a phone." Gabe said.

"Phones cost money." I huffed. Victor shook his head at me.

"Don't worry about it Sang. I've got you." I looked nervously towards Kota.

"Well find something simple okay?" Kota said. I let out a sigh knowing they won't budge.

"Fine," I said. "Just please don't spend to much okay?" The boys finally seemed happy with my answer.  It still felt weird having people spend their hard earned money on me. "But I'll have to be careful, if my parents ever found that phone..." I trail off now wanting to imagine what horrors would occur.

"Can't you hide it in your pillowcase?" Marc asked.

"No," I thought about all the times my mother has torn my room apart to find something that I was possibly hiding. "My mom searches my room," I thought about the attic. "Oh my attic!"
