I wrapped my arms around Zoey touching her bare stomach and the healing stitches she had.

She got self-conscious and pushed my hands away quickly as she grabbed her sweater. She pulled her sweater over her head then turned around.

"We should get to the hospital," she said.

"We will... but I have one errand I need to run first," I said.

"Ok... well it better be quick. I want to go see little bean," Zoey said.

That was Zoey's nickname for our daughter when she was pregnant and I guess she was keeping it.

Zoey grabbed her bag and I followed her out of my bedroom.

I was nervous but excited to take Zoey on this errand.

I had an idea in my mind and wanted to share it with her.

Zoey and I got down to the parking garage and got in my car.

"I don't think I'll ever get over how extra this car is," Zoey giggled.

I chuckled and buckled up.

I backed out of my parking spot then headed to where I was going.

As I drove I reached over to placed my hand to Zoey's thigh.

She was wearing these hip hugger jeans and a chunky pullover sweater.

She had on sneakers to match.

Her hair was in a messy bun and she had on only lip-gloss.

She was a natural beauty. She didn't need makeup in my opinion.

"So where are we going?" Zoey asked.

"It's a surprise," I said as I rubbed her thigh.

"Why?" Zoey asked.

"Could you just relax and enjoy the ride," I said.

"Whatever," she said as she started texting on her phone.

"Your scars are beautiful Zoey..." I said.

"Huh?" she said not really paying attention.

"I said your scars are beautiful. I noticed you get self-conscious when I touched your stomach and ran my fingers over your stitches," I said.

"I'm not self conscious. I just didn't want you touching me," she lied.

"Sure..." I said as I squeezed her thigh.

"Caleb!" she blushed.

"Don't front with me... be real Zoe," I said.

"Fine I'm a little self-conscious. Sue me," she said.

"Well stop being like that. You just had a baby. My baby," I said.

I pulled up to a red light and leaned over and kissed Zoey's cheek.

She turned to me and I kissed her lips.

"I love you so much Zoe... you gave me the one thing I never though I wanted. A beautiful baby girl," I whispered against her lips.

Zoey blushed and I pecked her lips a couple times.

I focused back on the traffic and the light turned green.

I drove for a little while longer until I came up to a gated community.

"Where are we?" Zoey asked finally looking up from her phone.
