Virgil flopped backwards on the couch next to Roman. "What if we were real people?"
Roman looked over at him, shocked. "We are real people, Virge." He said.
"No, I mean, what if we weren't in Thomas' head?" Virgil looked at Roman and smiled sadly. "Imagine the amazing things we could do on our own."
"But, taking care of Thomas is a fun thing to do! We are a part of so many things! Without us, Thomas wouldn't exist." Roman took the anxious side's hand. "Thomas needs us."
Virgil blushed and looked away. "I know, but... what if he had different people as his personality. Like... Finn, Chris, Jacob, Damien and Todd?" He suggested.
"Hypothetically." Logan said, rising up. "Sure, Thomas is very capable of having different people, but it is illogical. Without him, we, too, would be non-existent. So we wouldn't be free either way." He explained.
"What do you mean... free?" Roman asked.
Logan went wide eyed. "That is... not important." He cleared his throat.
"This isn't a prison. Be greatful for being alive  you too!" Roman sunk down.

There was light knocking at Roman's door. "Come in..." he sighed.
Virgil peered in before walking in and closing the door. He walked over to the prince and sat next to him on the bed. "To be fair, I was being kind of a dick to Thomas. I mean, I am so happy being here, with you guys, alive, helping Thomas. It's a wonderful experience." He smiled.
"It isn't an experience, Virge. This is our life. And I enjoy it as well." Roman hugged him.

"What if we were the facets of someone's personality?" Virgil plopped down backwards on the bench.
"You are a 29-year-old man, why are you thinking about this?" Roman asked.
"I dunno." Virgil shrugged. "But wouldn't it be weird?"
"Imagine!" Patton exclaimed. "I'd be morality! The dad!" He giggled.
"We all know who Emo Nightmare over here would be. Anxiety. Cause you make us anxious a lot." Roman chuckled.
"I'd be logic. Explaining the ups an downs of the world." Logan fixed his glasses. "I'd use a Point Dotskin Curve."
"And that makes Roman, creativity!" Patton giggled. "Because you always come up with awesome ideas and cool drawings!"
"Which leaves Deceit as... Deceit. Your name literally means lying." Virgil stated.
"Does that make me the main person?" Thomas asked.
"I guess." Virgil shrugged. "What if we were trapped up in your head? Like a prison in a way."
"We wouldn't be free." Logan looked down. "That would be... horrible."
"We aren't imprisoned! And it isn't horrible for your imformation!" Virgil scoffed, rising up in front of them.
"Who the hell are you?!" Person Virgil asked.
"I'm Virgil Anxiety Sanders. One of Thomas' facets of his personality. Anxiety."
"Yes! I was right!" Roman exclaimed.
"Oh don't be so prideful." Logan rose up and rolled his eyes. "I am Logan Logic Sanders. Thomas' logic."
"Ah, I knew it." Person Logan fixed his glasses.
"And I'm-" Patton rose up, pointing to himself with his thumb.
"PATTON MORALITY SANDERS-" Person Patton yelled.
"-But you can call me dad!" Personality Patton finished. "I am Thomas' morality! Wanna hear a joke?" He asked. "Why do flamingos sleep with one leg up?"
"Because if they slept with both legs up they'd fall over!" Person Patton giggled.
"And that leaves me-" Roman rose up in his prince pose. "As Roman Creativity Sanders! Thomas' creative side!"
"Oh good. Two Emo Nightmares and two Microsoft Turds." Person Roman rolled his eyes. "What if this day got any worse?"
"And two patty cakin' Patton's!" Thomas laughed. "These are my sides! Also Deceit, but who knowd where he is right now." He shrugged.
"Wow, you look just like me!" Other Thomas astonishingly said.
"As do you!" Thomas smiled in awe.
Person Virgil rolled his eyes. He grabbed person Roman's hand.
Personality Virgil looked down at their connection and blushed a deep crimson red.
The sides sunk down and the others looked at Thomas in shock.
"Well, nice meeting you guys! C'mon Patton." Thomas said.
Patton pouted because he had to stop his game of patty cake. "Bye other Patton!" He waved.

Roman grabbed Virgil by the waist. "You saw the other Roman and Virgil too, didn't you?" He asked.
Virgil nodded. "So what if I did?"
"You wanna... be like them?" Roman asked.
Virgil blushed. "So what if I do?"
"Shut the fuck up." He smashed their lips together.
