Janus Owens would do absolutely anything in his power for his little brother Virgil. The chances of a sixteen-year-old getting adopted weren't very large, when you throw in Janus's medical history, and the fact that he and Virgil are pretty much a package deal, the chances came down to pretty much zero. Virgil however... Sweet, kind, nine-year-old Virgil didn't suffer from any visible health issues (not like Janus who was all but covered in burn scars). Now he still had a chance. And the agency was more than aware of that. So when a great opportunity comes along that might just end with at least one of the Owen's brothers finding a home Janus is presented with their 'wonderful' and 'brilliant' decision that would in the end 'be better for everyone'. Virgil and Janus would be separated. Virgil would go on to be fostered by a family who was looking to adopt and Janus would remain in foster care until he too found a family (unlikely) or until he aged out. And after being presented with all of the information, and being assured he'd still be able to visit him he agreed. Oh what a mistake that turned out to be.

Everyone here has their own pair of wings they are born with. It can be the same color, or it could be different colors. Roman has beautiful red wings, though he can't fly. He was born with both, but his left wing was torn off when he was seven. Now he must go through challenges to be able to do the best he can with life. Roman thought he was doing a decent job. He had lots of friends, and was very popular among the theatre kids. But a dark secret seemed to overshadow everything he did. Virgil wasn't doing well. He mostly spent his time alone, and when he was with other people, his severe anxiety got the best of him. Logan was doing great academically. Socially? He was doing terribly. He was constantly ridiculed and bullied for simply caring about his grades. He couldn't wait until he could finally graduate. Patton loved his parents. At least, he thought he did. He knew he was supposed to. They were supposed to live him. But why did they always try to keep him from his own happiness? Janus hung in the shadows, mostly. His grades were not the best, sure. Then again, neither was his past. Remus skipped classes constantly, avoiding all of his problems as much as he could, which often included his parents and annoying twin brother. Together, all six of them are forced to share their problems and fears with each other, much to their dismay. But they will find that what they originally thought about each other is not what they turn out to be.

But they end up capturing two magical creatures. Which leads to a very interesting story. The creatures they captured aren't your normal known creatures. They aren't vampires or werewolves. They are far more scarier. An emo shapeshifter and a bubbly soul snatcher. Both born to be evil. They will face challenges and go through hardships that will test them and their bonds.
