Patton had stopped by the local library every morning. He was looking for this book, his favourite, The Gentlemen's Guide to Vice and Virtue. (We stan)
Logan sat there quietly everyday, engulfed in the book Patton had been looking for. He was so entranced by Percy's and Monty's relationship as it grew throughout the book. And how every word made Felicity ten times smarter.
It was only recently that Patton had noticed Logan and the book. There was a saying he had for him, book open, face deep. Meaning his book was never shut and he always had his eyes on the words.
One day, Patton noticed Logan returning to book, finished. His eyes lit up and he ran to the desk.
"Uhm, may I have that book, please?" Patton asked, handing the librarian his library card.
The librarian had always been nice and pleasant. He wasn't too strict about noise, but he enjoyed the silence and so did everyone else walking in and out. His name was Roman. He wore big round glasses and always had his face in a book, smiling.
Roman smiled and took the card from Patton and scanned it. He handed the book to him.

Patton walked in the library the next day, noticing Logan with a new book, similar to the one Patton had just got. He wondered if it was the sequel. The Ladies Guide to Petticoats and Piracy. A book about Felicity, yes!
Patton sat at a table and opened his book to the bookmarked page and continued reading from there. He was at the part where Monty, Percy and Felicity were just leaving for their tour.
Patton had also been amazed by how Percy and Monty's relationship grew. At the beginning their best friends, at the end their lovers. But Patton hadn't gotten to the end.
Roman smiled at the figure that walked in, never seeing him before. He looked at the strange guy closely.
The guy walked to a specific area, as if he knew the place like the back of his hand. He grabbed a book, Autoboyography. Then he walked it up to the counter and slid his card and the book on the counter.
Roman gave a welcoming smile and scanned the card and book. "Enjoy! I hear that one's an adventure!"
The guy didn't answer or give an expression, just walked out.
Patton giggled at something in the book. Afterwards he felt eyes on him. He looked up from the book and saw Logan staring at him, quickly looking away after Patton's gaze.
Logan blushed and went back to reading. He cleared his throat and read the lines carefully, understanding each and every word as he went along.

The guy from the day before enters once again. Roman always gave him a look of fondness when he'd walked in.
Virgil took a seat at an empty table. He slouched and began reading his book. You could tell, by just opening the book, he was already entranced by what it had to offer.
Logan, always there before anyone else, closed his book and sighed. He had finished. In just a day, and such a thick book. (Literally me when I was reading The Gentlemen's Guide to Vice and Virtue) He brought it up to Roman and handed it to him.
"What an adventure, huh? You get something big with and between Monty and Percy, best gay couple ever, then you get Felicity and Callum. It was quite confusing at first when read it. Wondering who Callum was and where Percy and Monty had gone. But if you need something to read, I have a suggestion of a six book series." Roman leaned on the counter, putting his elbows down.
Logan pushed up his glasses. "I would for sure enjoy that, thank you."
"No problem. The series is called Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel. By Michael Scott (that's actually the authors name and I love it) Look in the S section." Roman smiled.
Logan nodded and walked over to thr S section. They put things in order by author's last names.
Once he had found the books, he grabbed the first one of the series. The Alchemyst. (Oh my god, I cried when I finished the last book)
