"I love you, Finmore." I heard Ez say, proclaiming the one thing I wanted to hear. But, for some reason, I couldn't believe her.
"Ez, I don't know why you lied to me before, but I need to know the truth, do you really love me? And why did you do what you did to me? Was my love for you a joke to you? What were your thoughts about the Avengers movie? Do you like Star Wars? What's your favorite type of food?" I asked, being sarcastic and trying to be funny at the end. She laughed and said, "I really love you. Luke got in my head and that's why I did what I did. No, your love was the most serious thing in the world to me. Jax took me to see the Avengers and I liked it. I've never seen Star Wars. And, pizza." She said, quickly.
"Wait, wait, wait. Back up. Are you being serious?" I asked.
"Yeah, Luke really got in my-" she stared to say before I cut her off.
"No not that. You've never seen Star Wars?"
"Well I never got around to it.." She said, quietly.
"Come on." I said, grabbing her by the hand.
"Where are we going?" She asked, laughing.
"To watch Star Wars, of course." I said seriously.
