Harry

The time just flew by. My family distracted me as much as they could, without even suspecting it. Childhood memories awaken. It rings at the door and shortly afterwards my mother calls me downstairs. In the living room she holds a box under my nose.

"For you, my son. That was just sent for you," she says.

Curious, she stands next to me and waits.

"What is that, Mummy?" I ask.

"Why don't you open it? Who is sending you something?"

My sister appears in the room.

"Oh, what have you got there?" she wants to know.

 I shrug my shoulders cluelessly.

"How should I know? Nobody knows I'm here."

Gemma smiles mysteriously.

"Now open the package. Maybe it's hot underwear from a fan," she whispers,

 "Oh, Gem. You're disgusting!"

I wrinkle my nose and give her a pat on the back of the head.

I look at the box extensively from all angles. The address is printed on it. No handwriting on it. The sender is the General Post Office in New York. That is strange.

"Now open the thing already", everyone moans.

"We finally want to know who's sending you something."

Carefully I open the package. It smells unusually strong - a perfume perhaps.

What does this beguiling scent remind me of?

I think hard. Inside, silk paper rustles in candy colours. As I gently push it aside, I gasp. I let the box sink and tears shoot into my eyes. My mother jumps up in shock.

"Harry, my boy," she shouts.

Gemma eyes wide and hugs me.

"Little brother, what is it?"

"It is, it is... Lavender, Mummy," I stammer.

"LAVENDER?" everyone calls synchronously.

"What's so bad about that and why do you have to cry about it ?" Robin wants to know.

Now everyone lowers their heads over the cardboard box and takes a look inside.

"Mmmhhhh, a heavenly scent. It must be freshly cut." Anne looks quite dreamy.

 "What a gorgeous idea."

"Why on earth would anyone send LAVENDER to our son?" Robin doesn't understand the whole thing.

"Is there a card inside?" Gemma is suddenly totally psyched.

 "I don't know," I whisper.

With a shaky hand I take the box back and walk a few steps away from the others. My fingertips gently stroke the lavender blossoms. The blossoms leaves fine traces of scent on them. I don't need a card. The sender is known to me. Nevertheless I look it up. At the bottom of the box I find the card.

My Love,

I go where you go
Harry, I got you
There's no goodbyes, only us
So I will follow
Hold you close standing on the edge of no tomorrow

So I still follow

I been feeling high when I touch your body
That's how I feel the soul inside your body
Can't believe my eyes I swear
You glow, I follow you close
Fingertips touch, all I want your body
Fingertips touch all I want

All I want
All I ever wanted
It's in front of me
Right in front of me
What have I done
Now I never done
This could be the end of me
Be the end of me.

I go where you go
Harry, I got you
There's no goodbyes, only us
So I will follow
Hold you close standing on the edge of no tomorrow

So I still follow

As long as you feeling the same,
I'll follow you into the flames,
As long as you feeling the same,
I'll follow you into the flames,

Haz, fly with me to the stars. From there, hand in hand, we look down on all the lavender fields.

You're the love of my life and always have been. I want to share my life with you. I want to fall asleep with you in the evening and wake up with you in the morning.

I love you.

Zayn
