Shawn's POV

It was finally the end of my festival run. I sau finally because I'm exhausted, I do enjoy it but it can get physically and mentally draining.

My flight from LA had been delayed by four hours, almost the total journey time (I think??)

The time is now 9pm and I just want to curl into bed and sleep. Toronto airport doesn't normally have paparazzi, which is one of the reasons why I decided to stay in Toronto - I like my privacy. Truth is, I'm not feeling too good, my throat is sore from singing, my body aches and I'm getting a migraine due to stress and tiredness.

As I'm walking through the terminal, alone, a crowd of people begin to approach me. I normally don't mind taking pictures, but today was the worst day.

"Shawn hi"

"I love you"

"Can I get a pic?"

I hear from the crowd. My driver was outside and I needed to get there fast, as he had other places to go.

"Guys please can we take one big group pic?" I ask politely, nobody listened.

"Hey how are you?" One fan asks.

"I'm a little stressed." I say, trying to get the message across.

This situation was escalating quickly and I didn't have a bodyguard with me. My body felt as if it was going to collapse any second.

Luckily, an airport worker soon came and helped me.

As soon as I got into the car, I closed my eyes and was asleep for the twenty minute journey back home.

"Shawn" my driver taps my shoulder. "I'll bring your bags up, you look sick." He smiles and I thank him before going up to my apartment.

I expected Y/N to be asleep, but she waited for me.

Your POV

After nearly a four hour delay, my boyfriend walks through the door. Instantly, I get up and hug him, but in reality I wanted to hold him up.

"You look like you're gonna faint darling." I tell Shawn, brushing some hair out of his tired eyes, he flinched as I did this, almost like even touching him hurt.

"Sorry I'm getting a migraine." He replies weakly, sighing.

"What happened to you?" I could tell something was bothering him and it wasn't his migraine. He shakes his head, before sighing again. "Lets get you into bed and then we can talk about it in the morning. You literally look like you're gonna collapse." I coo, keeping my arms around him as we walked slowly into the bedroom.

"I don't want to change. I'm comfy." Shawn croaks, voice breaking. My heart ached for him, something had definitely happened to him. It then clicked - something must've happened to him at the airport.

"Did something happen at the airport?" I ask, brushing his hair out of his tired eyes.

"Yeah. Just loads of fans turned up and I wanted to take pictures but I was exhausted and my head..." he starts, voice trailing off after he understood that I got the point.

"Here, lay down sweetheart." Carefully, I help him lay down in bed, covering him up with the duvet and I prop some pillows behind his head for extra support to ease his migraine. "Let me get you a cold wash cloth."

"No Y/N, I'm fine."

"Its okay, you need someone to take care of you tonight." I stroke his cheek and he nestles his face into my hand.

I get a cold washcloth from the en suite and gently place it on Shawn's forehead.

"Thanks Y/N." He smiles, closing his eyes. "Can you lay beside me?"

"Of course." I sit up in bed, and he moves so his head lays in my lap, holding my leg for comfort. Gently, I massage his head, trying to ease his headache. As I get to the left side of his forehead, he flinches away from my hands. "Sorry sweet, is that where your headache is?"

"Yeah." He mumbles, nodding slightly.

That's how the next fifteen minutes are spent, me massaging his head, him laying in my lap.

I then decide to lay down fully and almost instantly Shawn cuddles up to me, digging his head into my chest to block the light out. I keep massaging his head, helping him fall asleep and get the rest that his body needed.

Its getting colderrrrr
