My Hero

Hey!! This is an imagine for Shannon1300. Hope you like it. Btw I'm back at sixth form tomorrow so updates may be slower. I don't have any requests after I've done this one so I could get another imagine up tonight.

Shawn's POV

Tonight is the night - I'm going to go public with my girlfriend of one year, Shannon. She will be at my show in New York tonight, and I've written a song about her. Its called There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back. I'll be performing it right at the end of the show.

"Right this is for my girlfriend Shannon. I'd like you to meet her. She's in the front row." The light shines on her beautiful face, and she smiles at me. "I love you." I begin to sing.

Baby, there's nothing holding me back" I finish, but notice that Shannon has a 'help me' expression on her face. I then see a fan hit her - I run off stage to protect her. The fan throws another punch at her but I block it. One problem - it hits my eye.

"Please stop attacking her. Shannon has done nothing but support me from day one and I honestly would not be here without her. A career like this gets stressful, and Shannon has been here supporting me through all the sleepless nights and stressful days. If you are true fans then you would support and love Shannon like I do." I finish.

Shannon's POV

Shawn just finished his song and then notices me - a few of the fans began to get aggressive towards me after he told them who I was. He runs off stage and protects me - one of the fans tried to punch me and punches Shawn by mistake.

"Please stop attacking her. Shannon has done nothing but support me from day one and I honestly would not be here without her. A career like this gets stressful, and Shannon has been here supporting me through all the sleepless nights and stressful days. If you are true fans then you would support and love Shannon like I do." He tells them as we walk off stage hand in hand and go into his dressing room.

"Shawn your eye" I brush my hand over his bruised eye. I check the freezer and there is an ice pack there. "Lay down." I order.

"I'm fine Shan..."

"Mendes lay down." He obeys and lays down on the sofa. I sit at his side and hold the ice pack on his eye

"Thank you for that." I tell him, brushing his hair out of his face.

"They shouldn't have done that to you. Are you okay? Do you need some ice? I should be taking care of you, I'll get some..." he tries to get up but I push him down.

"You're my hero and you deserve to be treated like a hero." I tell him. He then kisses me passionately, and I realise just how lucky I am to be dating Shawn. He's my hero.
