You see him cry for the first time

So in this one he's 15/16 and you're  whatever age you like x

Your POV

I get a text from Karen at 9pm.

Hey Y/N. Shawn's not been himself today. He's been upset so jw if you can stay over? Xx

I've never ever seen Shawn cry before.

Hey I'll be there soon x

I pack an overnight bag and go to the store and get Shawn some muffins before going to his house.

I ring the doorbell and Karen answers.

"Shawn's in his room." She tells me and I knock on his door.

"Shawn its me." No answer. "Shawn." I push the door open and see Shawn sitting at his desk, sobbing his heart out. He turns and looks at me, eyes puffy. He stands up but his legs give in, and I just about manage to catch him before he falls.

"Shawn" I wrap my arms around him tightly and he cries into my shoulder. I rub my hand up and down his back - something must be seriously bothering him.

"It...just..." he sobs.

"Sshh its okay"

I pull him into my lap and let him cry for a while. "Let it out." I say to him in his ear and he keeps crying. "Lets get you into bed." I grab his wrist to get him up but it feels wet - its blood.

I try to not overreact as I don't want to upset him anymore than he already is.

"Lay yourself down darling." I get a bandage from the bathroom and gently wrap his wrists up. I lift his shirt off and change him into a fresh top. "Budge up." I get into bed with him and he lays his head on my shoulder. "What's the matter?"

"Everything" he says and I instantly understand. He's been stressed for a few weeks and its bottled up.

"Is there anything we can do to help you?" I ask him, gently playing with his hair.

"I...I just need a few days to sleep...and just rest. I'm exhausted..."

"That should be fine. We'll speak to Andrew tonorrow." I hoped for his sake that they would let him.

"D...don't tell mum"

"I can't promise that hunny. She deserves to know love. We want you to stay healthy." I say to him and he nods his head softly. "Get to sleep. I'm right here." I plant a kiss on his head and hold him close to me.
