Got a really sad imagine coming up after this ahhh but it will be triggering xx

Your POV

Currently, I'm at the supermarket getting some snacks for Shawn. He has been really stressed out recently, so I thought I'd treat him to cheer him up.

I grab some muffins (of course), chocolates, lollipops and fizzy drinks. I also buy a fluffy blanket for Shawn.

I get home in around 20 minutes and as I unlock the door, I can smell alcohol. Worry floods through me as I run into our shared house.

"Oh Shawn" I sigh as I see him sitting on the floor, head laying on the sofa behind him, probably knocked out.

Gently, I lift his head into my elbow as his neck was bent back at an uncomfortable angle. I see a few empty bottles of beer and the Vodka bottle was almost a quarter gone. He would be very hungover tomorrow.

"Shawn." I shake him a little and his head subconsciously moves into my arm, wanting comfort. "I need to get you onto the sofa." I say in his ear and he wakes up, clearly having no idea what was going on.

Carefully, I lift him onto the sofa, only just managing to. I put a pillow under his head and then bring the duvet into the sitting room and lay beside him, letting him rest in my arms.

I must've fallen asleep an hour after Shawn did. When I woke up, Shawn wasn't next to me. Instantly, I knew where he would be.

I walk into the bathroom, seeing Shawn hunched over the toilet seat wasn't a pleasant sight.

"Y/N" he groans, head not moving.

"I'm here." I coo, kneeling beside him. "Let's get you into bed." I suggest, helping him stand.

Just then, I remember that the snacks from last night were still on the kitchen counter.

I get a muffin with a cup of tea for Shawn and bring it to his bedside.

"Eat up. You need some energy."

"Thank you." He replies, smilimg weakly.

Shawn only drank like this when something was up.

"What's going on?" I ask, sitting next to him on the bed, letting him rest his head on my shoulder. He was in a clingy mood, wanting comfort.

"I'm just really stressed out. I just can't get anything right anymore. Everytime I try to hit a note I miss, I just get really overwhelmed. What if people don't like the music Y/N?"

He begins sobbing quietly, trying to hide it.

"Come here hun." I whisper, letting him lay on top of me.

"I can barely breathe." He says almost inaudibly. Shawn was having anxiety, I didn't know what triggered it but all he needed right now was comfort.

"Breathe with the rise and fall of my chest." I suggest, playing with his hair.  "In. And out." I say, trying to calm him.

"I have a headache." Shawn whimpers, digging his head into my chest. I begin massaging his head to ease his pain, gently rubbing circles on his forehead.

"Try to sleep. It might help." I pull the duvet over Shawn to help him sleep.

Shawn's grip around my waist tightened, wanting to be held.

"Move up a little." Shawn was in a clingy mood, so he lays his head on my shoulder, almost fully laying on me at this point.

"You're so comfy." He giggles, his hair tickling my chin. I could hear his heart pounding through his chest.

"I'm gonna stay right here okay, I'm not going anywhere Shawn." I reassure, rubbing his shoulder with my hand. This seemed to calm him, his heart stopped pounding as loud as it did and he slowly falls into a deep sleep, looking peaceful.

Hope you liked it xx
