Annabeth

"Moma, wake up!" Sophia came into my room and yelled.

"What is it, baby?"

"I wana watch Goo Lu Arlie!" she tried to say.

Good Luck Charlie was her favorite show. I never liked it but . . . .

I got to the living room and turned on the TV just as the phone started ringing.

"Hello?" I answered. It was Hazel.

"It happened! Frank proposed! I can't believe it," she said.

"Congratulations! When's the wedding?"

"We wanted it as soon as possible, so we set it for two months. November 22nd."

"Moma! Look!" I heard Sophie yell.

"Hazel, I'm sorry. I have to go. Sophia is yelling."

"Okay, well, bye."

"Bye. Congrats!" I said and hung up.

I went to the couch and sat by Sophie. She was playing with her doll.

"Do you remember how to hold the baby?" I asked.

She holds the baby doll high in the air. I shake my head no. She holds it the right way. I nod.

"Yay!"

She giggled.

"What's your babies name?"

"Uhh, uhh, To-by!"

I realized something and ran to the calendar.

Tomorrow was Sophia's birthday. September 19th. And I forgot.
