The First Born (part two)

Annabeth

We sat out in the waiting room forever. Finally Jason came out.

"She was born. She's perfect and tiny," he said.

"What's her name?" I ask.

"Jade. Jade Melody."

"Pretty!" Sophia says.

"Wanna meet her, Sophie?" Jason asks Sophia.

"Yeah! Baby!"

"Yes, let's go," I say and pick her up.

We go in the room to see Piper holding Jade. Jason was right, she was tiny!

"She's beautiful," I say. Piper looks at me and smiles.

I could tell she was tired. It's not like I wasn't when I had Sophia. I was going to be extra tired in a couple of months.

Hazel and Frank came in.

"Hi! I heard she's been born," Hazel says.

Frank is carrying pink balloons. Lots of them.

"Her name is Jade," Piper says.

"Pretty," Hazel says and comes over to talk to me.

"Hey, Annabeth. How are the twins?"

"Good. How'd you know they were twins? I just found out!" I said.

"Percy told Jason and Frank."

"Oh. Okay," I say.

"Hey, guys Pipers gonna get some rest," Jason calls out.

We all leave, but Sophie doesn't want to.

"Baby! Baby! I want baby!" She yells once we get in the car.

I decide to stop and buy her a baby doll, so she gets ready for her brothers.

When we get home, Percy is already there.

"Hey, Seaweed Brain. We're gonna teach Sophie how to hold a baby."

"Okay," he says and walks to her room to get her.

He brings her down and sits her on the couch.

"Sophia, we're going to teach thou how to hold a baby," I say.
