"I know my mistake now. I won't try to do it again." Lin Ning did not want to be treated like a child by Cao Peizhi. 'I only want to do what is right. It's not bad to stand up to do the right thing.' Keeping those words to herself, Cao Peizhi knew what went through her head.

"It is right to correct the wrong, but putting yourself in danger all the time is wrong. I will keep treating you like a child until you understand what kind of situation you are in."

'This...' Lin Ning went back to the tent, letting everyone go on with their day. Cao Peizhi followed after her, refusing to let their time together go to waste.

Lin Ning had gone the next day to see how everything was going with Chun Yunchen. "How is it going so far?" Lin Ning had Xia Ling by her side to walk her over to the tent that they were in.

"So far, it is going better than I expected. You are lucky that I am a professional biom- crafter!" Reminding himself to keep things more ancient and history-based. 'I hate this.' He thought, continuing to work on the prosthetic limb. "How did you manage to make this anyway? No one's ever made something like this before." He said.

"Well, when you have all the right people, then it's better. I can't take all the credit for myself." Lin Ning had to include the fact that she was not the only one involved in such a craft. "How long do you think it will take for you to complete it?"

"It will depend on what other materials I'll need but as of right now; I don't know what else I need till later."

"Ling, can you get us some snacks to eat?"

"En." Xia Ling had left the two of them alone in the tent.

"So, you say that you are from the modern time? What time did you appear from?" Lin Ning asked.

"I came from XXXX. How about you?" (Chun Yunchen)

"I was there the same time as well. Who would have thought that we came from the same time?" (Lin Ning)

"You're telling me. So, you died in your last life. How did that happen?"

"It was one of those common vehicle accidents. It's not something that could have been avoided anyway." Letting there be a pause for a few seconds before once spoke.

"I don't know why I appeared here, but I am hoping that I will be able to go back."

"You wish to go back?"

"Of course I do. Here is too old fashion for me. I need my high technology back. I miss my phone and computer. Do you know how precious those things are to me?"

"I can see that you must be a lonely man in your modern life." Lin Ning did not feel bad at all.

"That hurts coming from someone who is a bookworm. I bet that you were a lonely woman as well."

Both had a moment of silence between one another once more; they then let out a sigh.

"At least you didn't feel any pain before you arrived." Lin Ning felt that he got lucky for not going through what she went through.

"That's because I am probably not even dead yet. I don't know why I am here, but I hope to find a way back soon. All of this talk of being an enemy and outsider is getting to me. I don't even know how you managed to adjust to this place. Chun Yunchen had set the stuff down onto the table nearby. Laying back to relax, he stared up to the ceiling.

"Well, let's just say that I had a lot of amazing people by my side. I do not know where the original owner of this body is, but she does not seem to exist anymore within this body." Lin Ning faced down, holding her hands while twirling her thumbs together on her lap.

"The woman who was in that body before you must have really hated her life then."

"That isn't nice to say. You don't even know this woman." Lin Ning argued, seeing that he was already judging the previous woman before her.

"I don't need to know the woman. I can tell that she is born blind since birth, likely lost her last lover, always remained home, never once spoke to anyone about her feelings, and likely went into depression. I can see that she hated her life enough to end it herself. You probably just happen to be compatible with her body, so you took over. It's probably one of those kinds of cliche things." (Chun Yunchen)

*Whack*

"OOOOWWWW!!!! What was that for?!?!?" Chun Yunchen had tears forming from the corner of his eyes, looking at the blind woman who had punched on on the head. "Don't you know that bain and head injury can mess up one's knowledge of learning!?!?!?" He pointed out.

"Is everything alright?" Xia Ling entered the tent to see Chun Yunchen soothing the top of his head while Lin Ning held an innocent look.

"Everything is fine. You've brought the snacks, right?" Lin Ning asked her maid, who went over to set the tray of food down for them to enjoy.

"Tch, women." Chun Yunchen had sniffled and held the tears back from falling down his cheeks. "I won't say more." He pouted, grabbing a bite from the snacks brought for them.

"Make sure not to lose sight of him. Make sure that he is truly dead." The Zhao Empress stared down at the men who she had hired to get rid of the Crown Prince's closest comrade. 'If I get rid of him first, then things would become easier for me. I can get rid of that prince sooner than later.' The Zhao Empress was losing patience. She wanted to hurry and get rid of the man blocking the path for her son. At the same time, she was still threatening the Ma Emperor about his son when she did not even have him. She was all over the place with maids and servants taking notice of her expressions and attitudes that worsened day by day.

"Master, are you planning to go out again?" The second prince's guard had noticed that the second prince would consistently go out from place to place looking for Lin Ning. 'The second crown princess will not be pleased about this. She is carrying your first child, and here you are going out to find another woman who may not even be alive.' Keeping his thoughts to himself, he knew that the second prince would be angered if he said it out.

"There is one last place that I am going to look." Yi Qiao (Second Prince) had looked everywhere, but he was going to go far off to the border of Zhao state to see if Lin Ning possibly went that far. After doing his private search, he found that none of the bodies in the fire belonged to any of the Lin members. 'There is a chance that she is still alive. She might even be in danger or worse. I don't want to see her in such a state.' Settling on his horse, he and his guard had hurried off to the Zhao Border.
