"When will you be home?" I speak into the phone, the only thing connecting my boyfriend and I, since he's in Vancouver.

"I don't know yet. The plane is delayed, but they haven't posted a time that we're leaving yet." He says and I groan.

"But I miss you." I say and try to hold back the tears that are about to roll down my cheeks. It was excruciating having him so far away for such a long time. I just love him so much and its so hard when I can only talk to him on the phone for a certain amount of time at specific times of the day.

"I miss you too, (Y/N). I'll be there sooner than you know it. I gotta go, I love you."

"I love you too." I say before I hear the two beeps that signal that he has ended the phone call and I immediately feel my tears streaming down my face.

*an hour later*

The doorbell ringing wakes me from my sleep, and I turn over to get out of bed. I trudge down the stairs, wiping my eyes. I check the time and its almost 3 a.m. Who could possibly be ringing the doorbell at this time?

I look through the window to see who it is. It really looks like Vlad, but I can't seem to figure it out.

I open the door to see Vladimir with a dozen roses in front of him.

"Oh my gosh, what are you doing here?" I ask him before he brings me into a hug. I hug him back tightly, not wanting to let him go.

"I wanted to surprise you." He says and pulls back from the hug and I place my lips onto his. Its felt like forever since I've last seen him. My hands run through his hair and his arms wrap around my waist as he deepens the kiss.

He soon pulls away. "So, did I surprise you?" He asks me.

I laugh, "I think you scared me if anything."

He looks disappointed, so I give him a peck on his cheek.

"Hey, it is pretty scary when someone rings your doorbell at three in the morning, but thank you for doing that. You're really the sweetest person I know." I say and he looks at me and smiles.

"The sweetest person you know also got you flowers." He says and hands them to me.

"Aw, thank you." I say before going to put them in a vase.

"I am so exhausted." He says.

"Me too, lets go to bed." I say and we go upstairs. He changes and lays down with me.

"It feels so good to be back home." He says and pulls me close to him.

"It feels good to have you home." I say and he kisses my neck before we slowly drift off to sleep.
