"Hey, I'm just going to run and get some food real quick, okay?" Rickard tells me as I sit at the kitchen table.

"Okay." I smile up at him. "Love you." I return my gaze to the magazine I was reading.

"Love you, too." He gives me a quick kiss on my cheek before disappearing out the door.

While he's gone, I finish reading my magazine and I clean up the apartment a little. We had just thrown a party, so everything was a little upside down from it. I sit down on the couch and take a deep breath. Cleaning a large apartment is not fun.

My phone buzzes on the coffee table, so I grab it and see that I got a text from one of my best friends. She's dating one of Rickard's teammates.

It reads, "Hey (Y/N)! Sorry to have to disturb you like this, but I just saw Rickard walking some girl to her car... Not sure if you knew anything about it?"

He's cheating on me?

I send a text back. "Hey girl. No, I don't know anything about it. Thanks for telling me... I know you've always got my back."

I throw my phone across the room and onto the other couch. Thoughts are running through my head like crazy, and the more thoughts I get, the faster the tears roll down my face.

I can't believe he would do this! After all we've been through together, he cheats on me! This is ridiculous. I can't do this relationship anymore.

Before I can even gather the strength to get up off the couch to pack my things, Rickard comes through the front door. I can't stop my uncontrollable sobbing, so once he enters through the door, he rushes over to me.

"Baby, what's wrong?" He kneels down in front of the couch I'm sitting on and places his hand on my knee.

"Get away from me!" I brush his hand from my knee and storm into our room.

My mind goes blank as he asks me what's wrong. All I can do right now is pack all the clothes I can into a bag.

"(Y/N), what did I do?" He asks. "Stop packing. Please." Tears are starting to brim his eyes. "You can't leave me. You just can't." He takes my bag and pulls it away from me.

"Give it back." I say, looking at him through my puffy eyes.

"Don't leave." He begs. His eyes say it all. He honestly doesn't know that I know.

"Why shouldn't I?" I retort.

"Why should you?"

"Because you're cheating on me!"

"What?" He furrows his eyebrows together. "No, I'm not!"

"Who was that girl that you walked to her car?" I cross my arms.

"What girl? Who are you even-" He comes to a point of realization. "Oh... Taylor?" He starts laughing.

"Oh, I'm glad this is all one big joke to you!" I storm out of the room and the tears continue to fall. I put on my shoes as quickly as possible and grab my purse.

"(Y/N)!" Rickard yells. "Would you just stop for a second and listen to me?"

"What?" I yell.

"That's my cousin!" He says.

I study his face for a few moments, the tears still streaming. I don't know wether or not I should believe him.

"Give me one good reason why I should believe you."

"Because," He places his hands on my hips and pulls me closer to him. "I love you. I would never, ever do anything to hurt you."

I still don't know what to believe. I mean, it's possible it was his cousin. He has never lied to me before, so I don't really have a reason not to believe him.

I sigh, "I'm sorry." He wipes the tears off my red, puffy face with his thumbs. I reach up and gently take his hands into my grasp. "I should have asked you about it first before assuming."

"It's alright. We all make mistakes sometimes." He places a soft kiss on my forehead. "We should probably go put your clothes back in the dressers." He laughs.

I nod my head and before I know it, he picks me up bridal style and carries me to our bedroom. He insists that he will put away the clothes, so I let him.

We laugh and talk about random things. Our relationship has always been really fun, and he's someone that I truly love.

Once he is finished, he jumps on the bed next to me. He rolls over on top of me and starts to kiss me.

"I love you so much." He says, his lips just inches away from mine.

"I love you more." My words cause him to press his lips down to mine again, our connection sending chills down my spine.

I need him more than anything. I know he feels the same way about me, too. We always let each other know how much we mean to one another, and that's my favorite thing about our relationship.
