"Brayden, come on let's go on the ferris wheel!" I suggest as I grab his hand and lead him over to the tall ferris wheel. It's Brayden and I's first date, and so far it's going fantastically. He decided to take me to the local carnival that comes once every year.

He is one of the sweetest guys that I have ever met and no one has treated me this greatly before.

"Aren't you hungry or something, (Y/N)?" He asks me sweetly, but I shake my head.

"We just ate not even an hour ago! How can you think about food right now?" I ask him, my hands still in his as we stand right by the line to ride the ferris wheel.

"I don't know, I just wanted t-to make sure that you're taken care of."

"Aw, Brayden that's so sweet of you, but I'm fine right now. Thank you, babe." I say and give him a kiss on the cheek.

"Do you want to go?" I motion towards the tall wheel.

He nods hesitantly, but he leads me to the line. It's about five minutes into waiting in the line and Brayden's hand is clenching mine. He's nervous.

It is the cutest thing when men become nervous, but I still feel bad for him.

"Are you sure you want to go on this with me? If you're scared then we can go play some games or something." I offer, but he automatically shakes his head.

"No, I'm not scared." He states. I decide to not press the subject any more, so I just slowly rub my thumb over his hand, trying to soothe him.

It's soon our turn to get on and as we do, we are slightly squished together. We are slowly raised higher and higher and Brayden has yet to let go of my hand.

"This is so beautiful." I say and look out onto the skyline.

"Can I-I tell you s-something?" Brayden asks me and I look at him.

"Anything."

"Okay, so I'm sort of petrified of ferris wheels." He confesses and I immediately pull him into a hug.

"Why didn't you tell me? You know we didn't have to come on this thing."

"I just wanted to make sure that you had a good time tonight and that I didn't make it boring." He hugs me back, burying his head into my neck.

"Brayden, I'm having a fantastic time and you are amazing. Don't be afraid to tell me anything." I tell him and slightly pull back, looking into his eyes.

"Okay, I will from now on." He says as we reach the very top.

"Oh my gosh." He says and I engulf him in my arms once again. I start to laugh at him.

"Don't laugh, it's not funny." He says, his voice muffled since he's leaning into me.

"I'm sorry, babe. I just think you're cute." I say and he looks up from his previous position.

"You think I'm cute?" He asks me with a sly smile on his face.

"Um...yeah." I say, my face turning a dark shade of pink.

A deadly silence comes over us as everything disappears around me besides him. Before I know it, his lips are on mine. He pulls back slightly, but continues to kiss me.

My hands go directly to his hair, slightly pulling on it. He puts both his hands on either side of my face. Awhile later, he pulls away.

"I could learn to like ferris wheels." He says and we both laugh.
