"No, (Y/N), you cannot have another puppy."

My jaw drops in disbelief, "I wasn't even going to ask that!" I cross my arms while I sit on the couch next to him.

"Then what were you going to ask?" Morgan looks over at me.

"Nothing. Nevermind." I turn my head the other way and pretend to ignore him.

I decide to give him the silent treatment. Guys hate that. And Morgan definitely wasn't an exception.

"(Y/N), come on. Just tell me." He pleads while putting his arm around my shoulders and pulling me against him. I give him no response. He looks shocked as I glance up at his face.

He continues to watch the movie that's playing and acts like my silence doesn't bother him, but I know it does. I've only given him the silent treatment one other time, and it wasn't pretty. I ignored him for almost a full day, but eventually caved in once he started tickling me.

I hope he doesn't remember the last time...

"Are you... Giving me the silent treatment?" He asks me. I don't say a word, but I want to bust out laughing once he realizes what I'm doing to him. "Okay, I can handle this." He says he can handle it, but I know he's struggling on the inside.

After awhile of our silence, leaning against his warm body makes me tired. My eyes flutter closed and I feel myself slowly fall asleep.

I wake up for what feels like a few hours later, and the first thing I notice is that Morgan isn't on the couch with me anymore. There's also a blanket covered over me, and a bouquet of flowers sitting on the coffee table in front of me.

I take the note off of the table. It reads, "Dear (Y/N), I'm sorry for not listening to you. I hope this will make up for it. I'll be back soon, I'm getting dinner for us."

My heart breaks at his note. I meant for it to be a joke, not because I am upset at him. Sure, I was a little frustrated, but nothing to the point to where he needed to buy me flowers.

As if on queue, Morgan walks through the door with my favorite Chinese food. I notice he stopped by the grocery store to pick up desserts, too.

"Morgan," I start to speak. "You didn't have to do all this. I'm not mad at you." I walk up to him after he places down the bags, and I give him a hug.

"You're not mad?" I nod my head. "You sure?" He asks.

"Yes! I promise." I smile and give him a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you for doing all of this."

"Anything for the best girlfriend in the world." He smiles at me.

"You're the best." I say as we sit down on the couch with our Chinese food.

"I know." He looks over at me to see my reaction.

I roll my eyes, "You're so full of yourself."

"Now, let's finish our movie that you fell asleep during!" He puts an arm around my neck and pulls me in quickly to kiss the top of my head.

"Sorry, it's just that you're so comfy to rest my head against, I can't resist the temptation to sleep."

He laughs, "Don't use me as your excuse that you're getting old and can't stay awake past four!"

"I am not getting old!" I shout.

It was conversations like this one that made me fall in love with Morgan even more. We always teased one another about stupid things, and we can always have fun with each other. It's never a dull moment with Morgan, and I'm sure he could say the same about me.
