I'm not sure whether to be happy or disappointed that Unseen Hero has more hearts than this fanfiction even though it only currently have 2 chapters (I understand why though.) Office AU.

Theme:

74. Bubble Tea

(Y/n) stepped into the bubble tea store to order some bubble tea. The store had a pleasant feeling around it and was not very crowded since it was so early in the morning. She walked up to the counter to order.

"Good morning, what would you like?" the cashier asked her.

"Hello, I would like two regular panda milk teas with regular sugar and regular ice."

The cashier quickly typed out her order on the screen, "That will be $11.85."

(Y/n) handed them the money and was given the change and the receipt. She didn't have to wait long for the drinks and once she was given them she promptly left to get to work.

The way to the building was quiet but it changed once she got into the building.

"Good morning, dudette!" a loud voice yelled when she entered through the doors. A man with bright blonde hair and shining blue eyes popped up in her vision.

"Good morning, Alfred," she greeted.

"What that?" he asked, poking the drinks in her hand.

"Bubble tea," she answered, far to use to his antics. His mouth opened into an "o" as he nodded.

"Where did you get it?"

"Down the street at Presotea."

"Oh. Cool! Why do you have two?" his blue eyes shimmered with curiosity.

"I usually get one for me and another one for Yao."

His face twisted a little, "Oh, Yao."

(Y/n) laughed at his expression, "You still owe him money, don't you?"

He adopted a kicked puppy look and pouted, "Yeah."

"Are you holding up (Y/n) from her work again, Alfred?" a voice cut into their conversation. Both (Y/n) and Alfred looked to the source of the voice. A blond man with green eyes stood at the entrance of the building with paperwork in his hands.

"Good morning, Arthur," (Y/n) said.

"Morning, Artie!" Alfred cheerfully exclaimed.

"Good morning, love. Good morning, Alfred," Arthur walked closer to the two of them.

"Don't worry, Arthur. Alfred wasn't bothering me. I'm still a little early right now anyway."

He shook his head, "You should get going now. Don't you have to be up there at eight?"

She looked at her watch on her wrist and gasped, "Oh. I have to go! I'll see you later!"

She bolted off quickly while waving at the two blondes.

"Bye, (Y/n)!" Alfred waved back.

"See you later, love."

Once she disappeared into the hallway Arthur turned towards Alfred.

"You like her, don't you?"

Alfred's glasses reflected the light as any hint of his usual happy self disappeared.

"What would that mean to you?" he shot back.

"Stay away from her." Arthur hissed.

"You can't make me." Alfred tilted his head and walked away, with his intent unclear.

(Y/n) hurried to the elevator. She just barely managed to make it in and sighed in relief.

"Thanks, Ludwig," she said as she pressed the button to her floor.

"Jou're velcome, (Y/n)," He replied with his thick German accent.

The two stood in the elevator until it reached their floors.

"See you later," (Y/n) said as she and Ludwig went down different hallways to their offices.

"Goodbye."

(Y/n) hurried down to her office and opened the door. Thankfully she wasn't late and was able to get to her desk quickly. She placed all of her things on her desk before taking one of the bubble tea drinks she bought and bringing it over to Yao's desk.

Yao was a pretty young Chinese man who worked in the company. He looks kind of like a girl though (don't tell him that though).

"Good morning, Yao."

"Good morning, (Y/n)," he replied.

She handed him his bubble tea along with a straw, "Here's your bubble tea."

"Panda milk tea, normal ice and sugar, aru?" he asked.

"As usual."

"谢谢!" he happily poked the straw through the plastic cover on the drink and took a sip.

[谢谢 {Xièxiè}: Thank you (Chinese {Simplified})

"You're welcome," (Y/n) smiled.

"Am I picking up the drinks next week, aru?"

"Yes, but only if you have time. If not, I can pick it up," (Y/n) said, not wanting to bother Yao. He chuckled, "It's no problem for me, aru."

"Alright," (Y/n) sighed, "Only if you say so."

They bid each other goodbye and she left to go get to her desk and actually work.

(Y/n) opened her laptop and connected her mouse to it. She opened a new tab and pulled up her email. She quickly filtered through it to see if there was anything she had to do. Along the way, she took sips from her bubble tea.

"Hello, (Y/n)."

She turned her head up to the source of the voice, "Hello, Ludwig."

In Ludwig's arms were stacks of paperwork.

"The boss wants me to look through these?" she asked. Ludwig looked vaguely sheepish as he nodded.

"Ja."

(Y/n) sighed and nodded as well, "You can place them on my desk."

"Danke."

[Danke: Thank you (German)]

"No problem."

Work passed normally with occasional bumps. There were no major mishaps and (Y/n) got to go home early. On the way out she spotted Arthur and Alfred arguing about something.

'It's probably nothing as usual,' she thought as she turned away.

Omake: At a separate meeting...

"She likes me the best!" Alfred childishly exclaimed.

"No, she likes me the best you bloody wanker!" Arthur shouted back.

"No way, aru! We get bubble tea every week, she likes me the best!" Yao yelled.

End!

Sorry about the slightly late update. I've been slightly swamped with work the past week. Yesterday I slipped and fell on ice too. Presotea is an actual bubble tea store. Thanks for reading!
