(Oscar x Oona x Otis)

At first glance, you would think that the subject of the song was obvious, but there was an underlying plot twist, that no one could see...

"You're on the phone with your girlfriend

She's upset, she's going off about something that you said

'Cause she doesn't get your humor like I do"

"Ms. O! I'm sorry! I didn't mean it like that," exclaimed Oscar on his badge phone.

"What do you mean? You didn't mean it like that?! No one, and I mean no one makes jokes about my juice boxes! I thought you would know that by now," she shouted on the other line.

Oona couldn't help but let her curiosity get the better of her, as she glanced over. Oscar was visiting the squad that day, and he had willingly offered to help out in the lab. It was Gadget Repair Day after all.

"I'm sorry, Ms. O! It won't happen again," he promised.

Oona could hear Ms. O's sigh even a few feet away.

"It's okay, Oscar. You're lucky that I love you," Ms. O smiled.

Oona tried to hide the fact that her insides were aching from overhearing that.

"I love you too, Ms. O-Oprah," Oscar quickly corrected.

Oona walked out into the main part of headquarters to collect more gadgets, suddenly remembering that she needed to check in with Ocean to see if he had any. As she passed Ms. O's office, her heart sunk when she saw the special smile across her top boss's lips. Her and Oscar were apparently still going strong, but Oona couldn't help but think differently.

"But she wears short skirts, I wear t-shirts...

Dreaming about the day when you wake up and find

That what you're looking for has been here the whole time

If you could see that I'm the one who understands you

Been here all along, so why can't you see?

You belong with me

You belong with me"

Even though Ms. O had known Oscar so much longer, it pained Oona to see him like her more, since she was always yelling at him. She knew that's just how their relationship worked, but she couldn't help but hope for so much more.

"And you've got a smile that could light up this whole town

I haven't seen it in awhile since she brought you down

You say you're fine, I know you better than that

Hey, what you doing with a girl like that?"

Oona was wrong though, because the reason why Oscar wasn't smiling was because him and Ms. O had broken up. Oona couldn't help but let her heart soar with hope though, and she felt giddy the next few days, since they still needed his extra help in the lab. Then without warning one day, Oscar said the magic words Oona never thought she would hear.

"Oona, would you like to go out with me on Saturday," he questioned.

Naturally that only caused her to drop every single gadget she had been holding, turning his shoes into pieces of bread.

"Sorry, boss! Of course I'd like to go out with you! Where are we going," she exclaimed loudly through her nerves.

"It's a surprise until we get there," he awkwardly replied.
