(Lian's POV)

I woke up with a yawn to find myself, would you believe, in my room. Wonder what woke me up at this ungodly hour... Oh right! Alarm clock!

Throwing the alarm clock out the door so it'll bother Kakashi instead, I begin to get comfy again. Just five more minutes...

You know, I had a weird ass dream last night involving a giant bird. A giant bird! Can you believe it? It seemed so real as well. Wait a minute, no my dream last night involved a dictating marshmallow, not a giant bird. So...

...the giant bird was real?!

WHAT?!

Okay, that's pretty weird, also pretty awesome! Some may call it... wasome!

But hey, I better get up, I can hear the alarm clock getting smashed again the wall meaning Kakashi is up. Plus, I've got the new team try-out! Another day, another team! I wonder how long it'll take for me kicked to the next one.

When you're lazy, getting ready can be as quick as a time-skip! Just watch!

It's barely daylight, can't believe Kakashi is making us come here at five in the morning! Ridiculous. I adjust my new headband with a slight grin, knowing I look pretty cool in it. Wonder if we'll be training again today or if we'll actually be going on our first mission.

I wonder why Kakashi insisted I go ahead, I mean I guess it would look strange if we showed up at the same time. Absolutely nothing to do with the fact that he's always late and it's on purpose.

Too late I realise it is to turn back as I see my sleep deprived team-mates, yawning and groaning.

Naruto is definitely sleep-walking, Sakura looks like she at least tried to put effort into her appearance, and Sasuke is his usual bubbly self.

Despite the sleep deprivation, I can tell they're all confused as to why I'm here.

"Morning, squad!" I greet, purposely over-cheerful for a ... five-o'clock start? Holy turtle, it's way too early!

"Lian, what are you doing here?" Naruto asked, perking up a bit in my awesome presence.

I grin, strike a dramatic pose and sigh, "Well, they heard you guys needed some help in making the teams more even and so they sent the most capable - "

"I heard you got kicked out of your other teams."

I glare at Sakura. "N-No! Not exactly... Listen, half of it wasn't my fault!"

"Right, not because you're just super annoying or anything," she says rolling her eyes.

"That's it!" And so I lunge for her, ready to fight only to be stopped by Naruto, holding his hands up in defence.

"H-Hey, no need to fight, I'm sure Kakashi-sensei will show up in a second!" Naruto said, "He might not let us take the test if he sees us like this!"

Oh boy, any second? They really don't know Kakashi at all, huh.

I take a seat, knowing that we're gonna be here a while and we might as well get comfortable. Anyone for charades?

"Alright, place your bets now! How long will it be until sensei shows up?" I say, playing with a kunai knife.
