Chapter 58

~Ross' POV~

Today is Christmas!! Riley is going to love her gift.

"Ri, you coming with us?" I said, slightly bumping her.

"Ya." she mumbled in response.

"Well get up. We have to leave soon."

"Kiss?" she asked.

Our lips slowly touched.

"Merry Christmas." she said once we pulled away.

"Merry Christmas. This is our first Christmas as a couple." I answered.

We had always spent Christmas together but we weren't dating.

"I'm up." she said, getting out of bed and going to her closet. 

Riley soon appeared with leggings and longer shirt. Then she put on some high top converse.

"You look hot." I said, scratching behind my neck.

"Let's go Ross." she answered before pulling me downstairs.

We walked outside to meet my family and go to the parade.

"Ross, dude, your hair is a mess." Rocky laughed.

"Sex hair." Riley whispered in my ear.

"It's your fault." I whispered back.

Riley ran her fingers through my hair. I felt myself get hard and apparently it was totally noticeable because Rydel and Riley started giggling. I can't help it! She just turns me on so much. I ran to the van and got in. Riley ran after me.

"What's wrong?" she asked.

"You know." I mumbled.

"I was fixing your hair!"

"I know." I answered.

"I'm sorry."

"It's okay baby. You're just so hot. I can't help it." I responded before giving her a kiss.

The rest of my family joined us in the car. My dad drove us to where we needed to be. Once we got there, we found our float and went to set up. My parents and Riley will sit on the back. I grabbed my guitar and started strumming a few chords to get warmed up. After about 10 minutes of waiting, the parade started moving.

"1, 2, 3, 4!" Ratliff yelled.

After that song, we chilled for a little bit and said hi to the fans.

"Ross and Riley should kiss!" one fan yelled.

I looked over at Riley and shrugged. She got up and connected her lips to mine.

¤Back at home¤

"Gift time!" my mom announced after we were done eating.

Riley handed out hers first.

"Converse!" Rocky exclaimed.

"Gift card to the music store! For $100!" Ratliff said.

"New bass strings! Every color!" Riker said.

"Gift card to Forever 21!" Rydel exclaimed.

Riley also got them some other stuff too.

"Keys? Why keys Ri?" I asked.

"Look outside."

I went to the window to see a car sitting in my driveway.

"You didn't buy me a car did you?!" I asked.

"Yes I did. Your parents said that it was okay."

She got me a car and I got her lame jewelry. Worst boyfriend ever. I got up and walked to my room.

~Riley's POV~

I heard Ross' door slam.

"I'll be right back." I said to the family.

I walked up the stairs and went in his room. Ross was sitting on his bed playing with a little box.

"What's the matter Ross?" I asked.

"You bought me a car and..."

It's almost like he was embarrassed.

"And what babe?"

"And, all I got you was this. It's embarrassing. You bought me something expensive and all I could afford was this. I'm sorry. I'm such a terrible boyfriend." he said.

He handed me the little box he was playing with earlier. I opened the box to find a locket. It had our picture in it and the date that we got together engraved on the back.

"Ross, it's beautiful." I said.

"I'm sorry."

"For what?" I asked.

"For being a lame boyfriend who gives sucky presents."

"Ross, it's beautiful and I love it." I answered.

"Ya but I can't ever buy you enough shoes to make up for that car."

"Rossy, all I want for Christmas is you."
